I know it was mostly interviews, but regardless of her fate, Mike or Mitch, made a great call leaving Annie "The Showkiller" at home, she would have added nothing at all.

Now you can say a lot of stuff about Fred and his missing cajones, which he had lopped off to maintain gainful employment, but A hole might not be the best word.

Not that Fred is the answer, but he is also much better without "her" there.

Fred, tolerates her presence, but when they start talking, it is people from 2 different ends of the earth.

I haven't listened in one year but for a few patches here and there. But I absolutly never was gonna turn it on the MNMS this week and I didn't. This was a week to celebrate the Bears and the Super Bowl. Mike and Mike did that real well at this.

It wasn't a week to celebrate Pappy getting drunk in Miami. A description of Pappy banging Bebe in the hotel room with the Ocean breeze coming through the window. Pappy, in creepy fashion, hitting on Jen Jen. Fred, in Super Bowl fashion, being a spineless yes man.

I didn't listen but I know it sucked. A tiger doesn't lose his stripes even during a Bears Super Bowl week.

Kind of strange that since annie was "under the weather" they did no news or traffic. Fred took on a much larger role and was able ask the guests questions. The whole north hitting on Jen has been played to death and should be shelved. The show looks to now be an actual sports radio talk show. It is unclear why annie is still hanging around.

A few points:

1) Annie should not be part of the show. That's obvious, and enough said.

2) I turned the show on and off this week - too often, it was North talking about what he, Fred or Jen did after the show.

3) The interviews I enjoyed - good back and forth.

All in all, if Annie isn't there, the show isn't bad. Is it top of the line ? No, because North is out of date, but I'd listen if we didn't have a housewife, ex-traffic reporter, husband of a major radio executive trying to make sports related comments each day - even though her role is way less than Mike's, and less than even Fred's, it still brings the overall show down.

Fred > Mike

thats why I cant even come close to liking the guy, hes just a North echo. Doesn't appear to have the ability to think for himself, at all.

Like I said, I can understand not liking Fred, but he is totaly harmless, even when he talks like he could possibly kick someones ass.

This morning I heard him hosting some Super Bowl preview show and some lasy calls in, because Fred wanted to know where people are watching the game

Some lady calls in with a 'We are watching it at our Church, isn;t that call?" Fred of course says it is, to just be nice,

Last thing I am doing is watching at the Church. Don't think Flanders would appreciate my F Bombs

So with Annie out of the picture, what's the difference between Mike w/Fred and The Wiseguys? Doug didn't ever disagree with Mike. Oh that's right, The Wiseguys took calls and would have beat a nationally syndicated sports show.

Doug agreed with North as much as Fred does.
