SJ and NSD handed the torch to me, apparently...and I pulled a Brandt Brown.

Didn't catch much of the show.

From what I heard, there was lots of Mello and NBA talk.

Spiegs and Goff said it was their worst effort to date.

Anybody hear other nuggets or stuff?

Pretty unremarkable.

There was a lot of talk about dogs, and some about the Biscuit stepping in a present from the dog.

They also did a lot of talk about euphanisms for going to the bathroom.

I wouldn't send these tapes to the radio hall of fame.

It wasn't so good. Bob Vandington was somewhere yelling at his radio....and crying....

Yeah, I do remember now something about one of Dusty Baker's players taking a dump in the dugout or clubhouse or something like that. I was on the phone, so only heard bits and pieces.

I was listening during lunch and had the misfortune of hearing the dog crap story. And the usage of "The Biscuit" is beyond stupid.

I'm in the music zone in the morning until there is actual baseball being played.

That's a better zone than bigfan's zone.

I'm pretty much with you though on this. Hockey, basketball and Nascar talk just isn't appointment worthy radio, IMO. Doesn't mean I won't listen, but won't go out of my way either.

Goff trying to tell me something about how Isiah still, like he ever did, have pull among today's NBA players???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Still shocked he let that garbage dribble down to him.

Isiah made his millions playing the game, not running a franchise. Like many former athletes (NBA,at least) have proven, being a GM is not an easy job.
I can rattle off Larry Bird,Jordan,Thomas,Kerr. In baseball,Kenny Williams certainly has gotten the job done, but the Cubs had Ed Lynch.(of course)
The Hawk on the Sox another example of FAIL.

Love the commercial for Overweight Date during the Meatpants Experience.
