No Ozzie, you're a very bad manager because you can't learn to keep your mouth shut.

AS a Cub fan,I liked Ozzie but enough is enough. It is time for him to go away. The talk of ripping a guys throat out isn't cute or funny anymore. The Sox need to clear out the whole clubhouse NOW. A whole new coaching staff. Try finding a manager that has managing a ballclub as his first priority.

Ozzie spends 7 minutes on one answer - all about Bobby Jenks. But he wants Jenks to focus on his own team and stop worrying about the Sox?

Oh, I don't think there's any doubt anymore that Oney is Ozzie's proxy. But he better be careful or he may lose his team. It seems pretty clear that a lot of Sox players weren't thrilled with Jenks, but I think they're probably even less thrilled with having a manager who allows access to his half-wit kid who might then broadcast their private business via a Twitter feed - with a wink and a nod from the manager himself.

Completely agree JORR. I have no idea why Ozzie continues to engage in this kind of stuff. He needs to ignore Jenks and worry about his own team and keeping his sons out of the way. This stuff is going to come back to bite him eventually.

Impossible. Keyser has chronicled for all of us the worst off season in the history of baseball, there is no way the Twins win the division

Jenks has some serious ink on his arms. I never noticed it before as he always seemed to wear sleeves. Is it sox protocol to hide the ink?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture. I think that sleeve has to be new. Or did he just always wear long sleeves?

Tough guy Ozzie had several people openly saying bad things to his face about Oney at the roast and did nothing. Does this guy really think he scares people

I have never considered Ozzie a good amanger based on his X's and O's, but in his ability to get the best out of players by acting like a teammate and really getting guys fired up. Part of that is the trust they have in him and this shit with Jenks might become an issue effecting that, which renders him useless and fireable.

That's what happens at a roast. You're supposed to take it or you shouldn't agree to do it. Ozzie should take his belt off and put Jenks in his place like he is replacing his father.

Nas I dont think the stuff said to Oney at the roast was typical Roast stuff

Anyway, at what point does someone question the physical threats? I know he's being metaphorical but in this P.C. society its hard to understand how he gets away with calling people Venesualan pieces of shit and ripping throats out and shit like that?

What happens when Ozney hits the majors?

Jenks should pay the White Sox dugout a visit and ask Ozzie for a throat rip demo.
It was OK in 2005 when Ozzie made the "wide guy" move with his hands to call in Jenks. If that's not drawing attention to himself (which Ozzie lives for),I don't know what is. Like I said before,it is time for Ozzie to pack up his circus clowns and head out of town. Take Don Cooper with him. Pretty arrogant because he is still living off the '05 season, when his ass was kissed by the media.

Since taking over as White Sox pitching coach, Cooper's pitching guidance has helped the White Sox to a 721-638 record with a 4.29 ERA overall. A more important number to look at would be the 704 quality starts put up under his watch since 2003, an average of 88 per season, the highest such Major League total during that time period.

I don't think anyone has to worry about that unlikely scenario.

How many AL teams have been under 4 during that span?

LOL...Ok,you got me,not too many. I was just trying to weasle out of my Don Cooper statement. I just don't like him ,he sounds like an arrogant New Yorker on the radio. Sox seem to have a lot of that arrogance.

Exactly, and consider the White Sox play in a band-box of a ballpark and often have had sub-par fielding of late.

FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) and xFIP take into account such things as quality of defense behind the pitching as well as park factors.

White Sox were 1st or tied for 1st (with the Twins) in the AL for both in 2010.

And the White Sox pitching staff WAR of 24.9 smoked the rest of the AL in 2010:
