Franco was awful. I can't figure out if it was his "schtick" to be that stiff and stare off away from the camera or if he was really that nervous.

Hathway was o.k., but her screaming for every presenter got old.

As far as the awards, people and movies won.

Franco dressed as Marilyn Monroe-Yeah,real classy. Would they ask Al Pacino or Charlton Heston to do that? The guy sucked major wad as a host. Ann Hathaway was OK,but leave hosting to the comedians.

Unintentional funny moment-The guy who won for best documentary bitching that all the CEO's who have been ripping people off during the financial crisis are not in jail. Hollywood applauds BUT its ok for Hollywood to charge 30 bucks for a BluRay when it costs about 55 cents to produce. Hollywood is full of "more profit" types.

The Kings Speech- This looked like a made for TV movie. Once again,a movie not that popular gets the nod. Hollywood keeps ignoring the moneymakers even though in recent times they have been better.

The unknown bitch saying the F word on live tv. In about 2 years she will play someones mom on a CBS comedy (if she's lucky)

Coming attractions for the movie Source Code look pretty good.

so my second instinct was correct. that's a relief...but "the social network" still won too much.

all in all, just banal. nothing daring or audacious...or entertaining.

anne hathaway was almost too cute. franco was too "cool". there never seemed to be any chemistry between the two of them. hathaway laughed a lot and faked having fun a lot.

the song she sang about hugh jackman was just ridiculously awful.

happy for colin firth, and melissa "fuckin" leo. when bale won someone should've shouted "OHHHH GOOOOOOD FOR YOUUU!"

Didn't watch, but just looked through some pictures. Hathaway and Portman both looked great.

Jeez Jimmy, why are you so angry? The Oscars are not a popularity contest. They are there so the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences can tell the common man that their taste in films is garbage, and they know what is best for all involved.

I went to school with Luke Matheny, the dude with the afro who won best live action short. <INSERT "We're happy for you!!!" HERE> Quality kid. Weird looking and hilariously self-depricating. Glad to see him get some publicity.

The entire show was terrible. Even the funny parts were just kind of awkward. How could they not find some sort of comedian for this? Nick Cannon or Daryl from the Office would have been more entertaining than two actors that have made careers off of having no personality.
