It's right next door to a place called Beer Geeks, which I so desperately want to visist some night. 8) They have foosball and various specialty and imported beers from what I've heard....and bands. All three are win in my book.

Is that the place on 45th? Sort of by the Family Video? If so, yes they have very good burritos, not as good as El Amigo but close.

I just learned that from my new office, I can get to Popeye's and back in 20 minutes. This is a hangover win.

Right off of Meacham across the street from Wildberry...you have to turn East at the light (I can't remember the name of the street) and it's on the left by the Comcast building.

I had a buffalo chicken sub from Subway. I wouldn't recommend it. I am
beginning to believe what many around here have suspected for years....
Subway sucks. It just stinks it is so close to where I work.

agreed...but to me it's still the best chain hot dog and burger around. but you're right I went there for lunch Friday and got what you got except a regular fry and also got a bowl of chicken soup since i was feeling pretty sick and it was like 11$ , insane

A slice of horrible pizza from the downstairs food court at the Thomson Center. Just awful.

This is probably too far for lunch, but take a run to Big Sammy's in Elk Grove on Meacham one night. I went there for lunch Tuesday, and it was pretty good. 2 hot dogs and fries for $5.45 or so...I think the have a deal where it would be about $6.50 for that with a pop.

I grabbed a menu, and the prices seemed fairly reasonable.

We made new york strips with lemon balsamic asparagus and a salad.
Day before was some watercress and steak stir fry.

No. Clearly we are supposed to ask so then he can tell us if its the wife, the girlfriend, the boyfriend, both, or somebody new, and then he can explain how, when, where, and why he dined with whom he dined.

That's pretty much how I take my hot dogs, except I don't get tomato. I'm not opposed to tomato, but I just don't need it on a hot dog. I also usually ask for extra mustard.

Leftovers from the weekend: few pieces of pizza and a cup of cream of chicken soup.

IMU - please re-read this entire thread. Are we really to believe that you are qualified to judge whether or not a Chinese place has "fake ass" food?

disclaimer: Never heard of, nor been to, the "Wonton Gourmet'. It may indeed be some fake-ass Chinese stuff they are trying to sell there. Just thought it was funny coming from you. You seem to prefer the fake-ass foods of the world.

I've never seen Asian people eating in Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown.

Oh, don't tell me you never crave a little fourthmeal here and there.

But I guess we all have to keep our dirty little secrets.

I didn't say that I don't partake in a border run every now and again...I'm just sayin' it's not decent.

Hell, I'm half hoping Taco Hell is open Sunday night when I'm on my way home from my aunt's house...we're going to Easter Brunch early as hell, and I know I'm gonna be hungry.

I had 3 softshell tacos about 10 days ago or so, and they were actually fairly decent. Not near as bad as I remember them being.
