Wow. A Danny Mac movie?

Dueling Heavy Fuel Crew tell-all books?

Big shooter.

I hope no one mentions anything about meatpants not being there today until YourMom comes on here to tell us the reason why.

We already know why...he talked about it yesterday...Tributosaurasus becomes The Starland Vocal Band tonight.
So wait, Meatpants is missing a chance to host a show in one of the prime spots so he can become some band that I've never heard of?

That's...interesting.

Yes, why don't you know 70s-era groups? Music I grew up with...

It was great hearing the slot swap.

Terry sounded energized (not wanting his mid-afternoon siesta), and Mac ....well Mac is Mac - he reminded us regularly how much he LOVED afternoons.

Great show today.... Nice hearing the boys throw a log on the fire.

Too bad Mac never go around to his standoff with Bill Simonsen at the Hoist House Men's Room up at Platteville.

It's pretty good of Mac to give his producers exposure. Mac said Zawowski has been at the Score for 10 years. He never had an on air persona until Mac got there. Mac made him the Score's "Hockey expert". Finfer is getting shifts too.

Goff has been subbing on the Mac show. Now that Finfer is there, do you think Mac might go to Bernstein and say "You take yours" and "I'll take mine" with regards to sub roles on their respective shows from now on? I think Mac likes Finfer since he's been his loyal soldier where as he doesn't have that connection with Goff. Discuss.

No. He's said Goff is the primary fill-in.

Maybe that's his public position to keep the peace. We'll never know what goes on behind the scenes. Stay tuned. This might get ugly.

Finfer and Jay are brutal. Finfer has a very annoying voice. Should of let Mac go solo today. Now we get d-bag Teddy because he is Mac's guy. Later some bad Hawks talk with Rosey.

Jay = bad. I really liked Ben when he and Hood were paired, but he added nothing yesterday. The show had a weird "Mac and the Interns" feel to it. It didn't even seem like Mac was into it. And, Mac gets a crack at his dream slot again and THOSE are his co-hosts?

I really enjoyed hearing Mac before dinner. The afternoon felt more energized....something that has been lacking in the afternoons for a couple years.

I was disappointed to not hear good dolphin's role in engineering the teaming. I was the original Spiegal banner carrier.

I called the Spiegs/Mac pairing pretty much right after Mackey was given his walking papers on this here message board. And for those that talk about how much of a paycut Mac took - he's making more money than North, Eddie/JoBlow, etc are currently pulling down. And he's also doing less at WSCR than he did at SCR or ESPN before. Spiegs drives the show from the board - which is much less work.

It is what it is - two knowledgeable talented sportsradio veterans that were out of work - and the stars (aka timing) aligned.

Who knows what happens when Jurko's gig is up, if Boers decides to ride into the sunset, and Bernstein would rather be on the radio when his kids are in school - and wants to be around when they get home. Stay tuned.

I thought both shows yesterday sounded great - both B&B and Mac/Boyquarium were energized.

I think Grid and Slappy have hinted on a few occasions that Mac will be back in afternoon drive on the Score. It's clear that Mac has discussed this with them. Bernstein wanting the 9-1 shift because of his young kids makes sense. Maybe Bernstein goes solo in that shift.

I'm not privy to any info whatsoever, it's just my hunch. Mitch knows Mac prefers afternoon drive.
