Actually the fact that he's still playing speaks to how hard he worked to get back.

That would have been a career ending injury for a lot of guys. Especially guys who were set financially.

He swallowed his pride and played at a mediocre level after being dominant before.

I think the color of his skin is why you think he's lazy.

I have as much info backing up that theory as you do yours.

Scorehead, lets pretend youre not prejudiced for a second

Which players and what 1000 people thought Tommie was lazy?

Do you have anything to back this up at all?

Good riddance.

Huh? The guy was on his way to the Hall of Fame before he got hurt. I'd compare him to a guy like Wally Chambers.

Yea. They had to stop production of Tommies head statue when he got hurt because he was a lock for the NFL HOF.

What???!!! You cant possibly be serious.

I guess you don't understand just how good this guy was before he got hurt. Now, if you want to say a lot of guys looked Hall of Fame bound before injuries derailed them, I'll agree. But don't act like Harris wasn't a great player. And the only thing that stopped his greatness was his knee. Not laziness. Not lack of heart. Not lack of desire. A fuckin' knee injury. Period.

Harris was a great DL for 3 years. Then he got hurt. Lovie didn't like Tommie & benched him because he wasn't doing the rehab that was suggested to him. Period. My source will remain my source.

I occasionally play Golf with a buddy who is a member at Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, IL. Dick Jauron was a member there & played a lot of Golf. Richard Dent & Dan Jiggetts also live on the course. Many former & current Chicago Bears have attended events at the club, as have I. I have played Golf, ate, & smoked Cigars with a few players. Tommie Harris was not very well liked by either the players or coaches. I'll leave it at that.

i have no idea if harris is lazy or well liked in locker room.. but i do know this... u do not draft tackles under 300 lbs, they are undersized. once harris was injured he lost that quickness advantage and was left just being average speed and under sized. not a great combo.. they held onto harris 2 years too long and lovie's dumb ass kept him starting pretty much the whole time.

Did Jauron, Dent or Jiggetts ever coach or play with Harris on the Bears?

I didn't think so.

I was once at the same wedding as Wannie. He had nothing bad to say about Harris

The point of my previous post was that I have attended a few golf outings that current Bears players participated in, including the foursome that I played in, & to a Man, all of them ripped Tommie Harris for being lazy & not following through with his rehab.

A, who gives a shit
B, just because he is an asshole and not liked, doesn't mean he was lazy.
C, you are still an idiot.
