I didn't touch the difficulty, whatever it's set at out of the box. Was my 4th season, must have been 95s in contact and power from both sides.

I also think my obp was .460, must have had maybe 4 unintentional walks in a year.

Just got it, and I love it so far. It's the first MLB game I can see myself really getting in to since the glory days of MVP.

Very satisfied, and definitely recommend. Appreciate the reviews on here.

I'm awful at this game. Can't hit with analog to save my life. So many strike outs and weak ground outs

Just finished my first season on RTTS...Had an average record and a decent ERA but I got promoted to AAA but I am in the bullpen instead of starting.

Yeah...simd part of the first season...second season...got traded to the Blue Jays at the trade deadline and ended up getting called up to the big leagues in September...Got invited to spring training the next season and played well enough to stay in the Jays pen.

I've never not been traded in RTTS. If you save after everything you can reload and usually they won't trade you. Played 2 full games with a drafted team. Won 9-5 and 4-2, were pretty exciting games.

I thnk in 09 if you didn't re-sign after your rookie year you became an FA but after that they revamped the system so the team kept your rights and you basically had to resign or retire.

Watched the analog batting tutorial. Hung 12 runs on the Pirates. So, it helps

Interesting, I just read the instructions and tried it in a homerun derby. I'll check it out

I haven't played this in a couple years, but there are always some guys who make some great historical rosters you can download on http://www.operationsports.com/forums/scea-sports-mlb/

Is it just me, or are baseball games the best ones to throw the TV on mute and fire up some tunes?

In previous RTTS games as a pitcher I've gotten into way too many 8+ pitch at bats that kills my stamina as a starter, is that still a frequent occurrence?

I dont think it is...I havent started many game...have been mostly a reliever...i usually wetnt 6-7 innings when i was a starter...did throw a complete game 5-hitter in the minors.

Trying an RTTS pitcher again. I've gotten a season in at least a couple of times pitching and never farther in old games. Went with an SP as usual. For the first time I didn't get moved into the starting rotation after the first or second advancement period. Had to wait until the 4th one which was around a month before the AS break. Never started a game but was 2nd in the AA SP all-star voting at that point.

Im going to be restarting my RTTS career next week. Ill probably go with a pitcher as the 2nd baseman I have just really isnt doing anything of note.

I have a shit ton of mp3's on my PS3, and The Show / NHL allow you to play these in place of the in-game music / EA Trax / etc...

#winning

How do you do that????
