Maybe Waddle will parlay the ESPN gig into a presence on ABC7 replacing Jim 'blander than he outta be' Blanzey.

Same building, same parent company.

Where did the March 1 date come from?
I thought most radio moves include the 90 day non-compete clause.

I would listen to Silvy & Waddle from 9-12. Silvy kinda reminds me of Waddle's old MVP partner Jim Kozimore.

As for the Hassaidic Homeboy, he can leave with Seannycakes.

Mac said 'by the end of the month' there'll be news.

Non-compete clauses within contracts don't mean anything if the contract has expired.

Fearless prediction - ESPN's Final Word from 9 to noon will debut in April with McFerrin and Waddle. That's a show that can go national.

Hey Mac - from one light skinned guy to another: go easy on the speed-tanning! Or bring some SPF30. Your entire head looks like its about to burst into flame, my friend.

As per Waddle, if his arrival at ESPN1000 doesn't include the departure of both Sean and Rosie, I will be bummed.

Per Sun Times today..

Dialing: Waddle joins ESPN 1000
• It's official: Tom Waddle has been hired at ABC-owned sports/talk WMVP-AM (1000). His new deal, via agent Steve Mandell, was signed Wednesday.
Starting Feb. 26, he'll join Marc Silverman from 7 to 9 p.m. weekdays -- the same time slot he occupied for 10 years with David Kaplan at Tribune Co.-owned news/talk WGN-AM (720). Kaplan continues as solo host of WGN's "Sports Central."

Although ESPN 1000 bosses declined to speculate on Waddle's future deployment, the former Bears receiver is expected to move up to middays eventually.

Are Silvy and Carmen moving back to 9-12?? god I hope so, Life is hard enough on the base in the military but having to listen to Rosencrap and Salsaberry...
Gads...
