Murph was explaining that nobody who lived by Wrigley before the lights went up lives there now. HE then challenged anyone to call and tell him that they shouldn't have more night games (something along those lines, don't remember exactly what his point was) because "everyone is too scared to call" and get their ass buried.

It was quite entertaining.

I'm in favor of Wrigley Field having more day games and fewer fratboy douchebags. Is this possible? All those bros and pinkhats give Cub fans a bad name.

Day Games at Wrigley were great but if you want the team to win, you got to have more night games. The cubs have to get with the times here.

I've never understood this. I would think if the Cubs are the only team in the league who is adjusted to playing day games, then it would be an advantage over the competiton.

No, the black and latin players are better equipped to play in the heat, man. Dusty wasn't making that up, dude. He sure had a little Jimmy "the Greek" in him, if you'll pardon the expression.

I think it has to do with players lifestyles more than anything. Theory is Cubs players in the past have been known for partying all night, then coming into a day game not 100 percent. Thats like most of the MLB nowadays. Most players party and need those night games to recooperate.

At least thats the theory.

Also playing all those day games under the sun during the middle of the summer could be draining compared to playing at night.

Also the Cubs talent level is traditionally below that of other teams which is often a disadvantage too.

If only Gary Scott could have played more night games....
