I have a never-ending internal struggle with this show. Mac was the only way I could tolerate the Afternoon Saloon (during B&B commercials). He's a funny guy. Not yet an hour ago he dropped this gem on us: "You can't intimidate a wall, number 3." Hilarious stuff.

Spiegs is part annoying-furniture (like a wicker chair that occasionally stabs you in the thigh), part quality baseball/basketball talk.

Then Mac has to wear a Brewers jersey to the Cubs opener and talk 4 hours of hard Hawk hockey. This show doesn't hit my demographic. I'm 23, I didn't jump on the Hawks bandwagon, and I can't name obscure jersey numbers from the 80's. More Lady Gaga/Bulls, less ACDC/Kaner.

The title of my thread was simply asking why this show isn't worthy of discussion anymore. B&B get a thread and the Dmac show USED to get one....but why not anymore? I was simply starting a conversation...judging by your acidic and violent response, I have failed in my task....or at least failed with you.

We don't even get constant venom from Gloop or Seawad anymore. This forum is a barren wasteland. I was just asking why.

Did they really talk all hockey today?

This is a week where it's a bad idea to not know who John Wall, or this year's John Wall, is.

Sorry for the misunderstanding... I don't know about anyone else but I get tired of reading people bitch about shows they hate. That's part of the reason why I stopped coming to the site as much. The place devolved into a constant bitch fest. I like reading critiques or valid points just as much as the next guy... However the constant "Mac sucks" from guys like Gloopan is just stale. Gloopan and other clones get a new schtick already.

Spiegs is terrible. what does he offer. He has a bad sense of humor, has no credibility when it comes to sports, isn't really all that likeable (i dont even think one can like OR hate him) and doesn't drive the show. Him being on a sports talk show baffles me. Danny mac has chosen... poorly.

I disagree. Meatpants is okay in general, but he is really pretty good when discussing Baseball. I consider that his strength. Neither Mac nor Matt is all that knowledgeable where basketball is concerned and for that reason amonst others, I think adding Jason Goff to the mix would be a good idea. 3 in the studio worked out okay for MJH, why not here??
