Anyone pick this game up yet? Looks to be pretty damn solid from the trailers and reviews, however I was unable to play the demo for some reason.

Still debating if I should purchase a shooter before BF3.

You know, I was thinking about it, but I buy FPS for multiplayer. And I can't really justify buying this unless my gaming crew does. Call me a lemming. But I don't really game for gamer points. I game to talk shit with my buddies.

I got it for pc and it is a pretty good game. I didn't play the first one, so getting used to the suit takes some time. You can customize the sights and barrels to all of your weapons in the campaign mode at any time, and the suit lets you play in stealth mode or 'balls to the wall' mode in any given situation. AI is pretty good so I'm sticking to the stealth mode. The reviews said that for the first 4 hours or so were slow, but even still I'm 2 hours in, and am having a good time. I haven't really delved into mulitplayer, but you can use your suit in the MP which makes for some interesting games. I'm happy with it...

IMU was right; there are just too many good games out right now.

Dude,
I broke down and picked up this game. I haven't played much of the single-player, but the multiplayer is a blast. The maps are pretty complex. And the movement/abilities of the nanosuit thing is pretty cool. I think its pretty cool.

I'm only a quarter of the way through single-player. It's a blast. And according to the review it is MUCH longer than other FPS that have come out.

If the campaign were even twice as long as your average FPS these days, it would be a 9 hour game.

My campaign took about 14 hours on normal difficulty... same length it took me to beat Half Life 2... I was actually really impressed with the length of the campaign as there were 4 or 5 places where you would think that it would end, but it kept going...

But I hated the multiplayer... it's too unbalanced. Every time I played, everyone went all stealth on your ass, so there were a bunch of invisible people stabbing you from behind...

I really liked Multiplayer. I suppose I think its pretty unique that the boards are just as vertical as they are horizontal. I just wish you could unlock stuff easier.
