Yeah, something about going to car show just to see a back up quarterback. Seems pretty gay.

So what flops worse, Sean, or Fords new Taurus design. Discuss.

Unlike ESPN Radio 1000 studios, McCormick Place can house Sean's ego.

I wonder if Sean makes it to the auto show today.

If he flew in last night, he's still got to get to McCormick Place from the Rennaisance Hotel. Nothing is guaranteed with this guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Sean Salibury - the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MEDIA MEMBER IN CHICAGO (allegedly).

And I do mean 'MEMBER'.

Rosenbloom is on the air, and he has NO idea where Seany Cakes is at.

Insubordination - fire this guy's ass.

wow. You called it Beef. I don't want to come off like an ass for saying this, but now Sean can always use the excuse about his dad being sick. I bet thats what we'll get. I wish cancer upon no one and don't find it funny in the slightest, but you know Sean is going to use this to his advantage because thats the type of guy he's led us all to believe he is. It's how own fault I think like this.

LOL, you called it beforehand! You're the Babe Ruth of S&R. But, yeah, fire the douchebag.

As a Chicagoan, I would have thought Salisbury would have realized that when it snows it takes a little longer to get to work.

BLAMING IT ON THE CAB DRIVER!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!

He said the cab driver didn't know how to get to the McCormick place. There's NO WAY IN HELL the cabbie didn't know how to drive to the McCormick Place. That's the biggest line of bullshit I've ever heard. Even if it was true, he should have been there late for the show's meeting before the show. NOT the show. Also, if you are running late isn't it common courtesy..no wait...isn't it IMPERATIVE to call your employer and say you are going to be late? There's one thing you absolutely can not be in broadcasting and that's late for anything. I'm just in shock of how he has no respect for the business.

Who was the caller that called Sean out for being late? Sean's classy response "I have more jobs than you can count to"

Just more to add to this.

Could you imagine if there was a live TV news broadast remote from the auto show with two anchors and one just decided not to call, (better yet answer their phone)to say they're late and show up 15 minutes late? I'm sorry, but people on the business not only get a warning on their record for stuff like this, but this type of stuff can get you fired quickly. This is n't his first time doing this. And I'm sick of the line, "I've got a lot of jobs..." Sean, you're the one that wanted them. It's not an excuse. You're putting yourself in too many places at one time. You're finanacially successful enough at this point to not have to work all of these jobs. This guy is unbelieveable. I hope to God the ESPN higher ups don't just shrug their shoulders on stuff like this like its no big deal.

Since they couldn't find Joey Lombardo for so long, and since he's now incarcerated, I think Sean should get his nickname now:

Seany "The Clown" Salisbury

Did you hear Uncle Rico say he was looking for furniture for his condo - you guys get that one? Rosenbloom told him, "you've already waited almost a year - why the rush NOW?"

I think he knows he's getting canned and he is just throwing a fit like an 8 year old girl. This is when true character is shown.

Actually I was late coming back from Vegas a few weeks ago because the United pilot didn't know how to get to O'Hare.

Ask my employer.

So, it can happen.

Sean just said he only watched the Pro Bowl from the sportcenter highlights. How is that different from any other game? Honestly, he claims he watches every single nfl game every week. I could see that being possible for some, but how would that be possible for Sean?

Even if the cabbie didn't know where McCormick place was (which is hard to believe) why couldn't Sean tell him how to get there? Furniture- my ass. He should go to Rent-A-Center because he's not going to be here long enough to pay all the stuff off if ESPN has any clue what to do with Uncle Rico

Hell, he lives in Dallas where it can take an hour to get to downtown from 5 miles away. This guy's a tool. Let Waddle get his start with the MVP people and build his rapport with Silvy on the night shift and bring em back to 9-12. In a hurry.

I wouldn't say he has no respect for the business, just ESPN 1000. You better believe he is never late for any one of the 47 jobs (which he happily accepts a check for) that he has at the mothership. He just doesn't give a damn about 1000 or Chicago for that matter.

I love how Rosie didn't buy Sean's excuse. He said at the end that "Sean had the only cabbie in Chicago that didn't know where McCormick place was." Atta boy Rosie.

It's such a bullshit lie. But Sean had no choice. Even though nobody beleives him he couldn't afford to say he over slept after being late and not showing up a hand full of other times.

But hey Sean like somebody said here. Shouldn't you have been there at least an hour before the show. So even if the Cabbie got lost you should have been there when the Cabbie was late.

Hey Sean we have a huge lake by McCormick place. If the Cabbie was lost whitch he wasn't just tell him to drive east until he hits water. That's what makes the excuse even more funny. Or just tell him its by that big weird looking football stadium. I'm sure all cabbies know about that place. What a joke Sean is.

I wholeheartedly agree with Rosey, and I also agree that Sean simply doesn't respect ANYBODY at ESPNAM1000. I think he likes thumbing his nose at them by saying "I've got a three year guaranteed deal"... "The cab driver didn't know where he was going"...

I know with MJH, typically the guys get there about an hour before the remote. I guess Sean is 'above' that local sportsradio nonsense.

They continue to enable him by doing nothing about it.

Which brings me back to my thought from months ago. If ESPN AM1000's management doesn't care about Sean, and the on-air product from 9-Noon - then why in the hell should any listeners?

The ratings speak volumes.

Sean also said he knows more about what goes on inside the Bears clubhouse than any beat reporter. I'd take Mully, Biggsy, Mullen, Haugh, LeGere, even small town paper scribe Nick Hut from the Northwest Herald over Sean Salisbury when it comes to Bears acumen.

Sean Salisbury couldn't cary Nick Hut's jock strap.

He's Chicago sportsradio's version of Channel 2's Mark Malone. I hack quarterback that thinks his shit don't stink. It's his farts that give him away.

I really hope someone addresses this issue on MJH's critics tomorrow.

I know what you are saying, but I believe the fact he has treated ESPN 1000 the way he has is also a direct stab at the medium itself. There are a million hard working people in the business that just want a shot that would NEVER show up 15 minutes late for their radio show from nine to noon in Chicago. Ridiculous.
