I like Clapton, maybe a bit overrated.

I'll tell you this though. I completely and utterly HATE that song "She's Waiting". Makes me want to jump off a bridge while sawing off my pecker and tearing my face apart!!! It also makes me want to destroy things. Any time this song gets air play means that the terrorists have won!

Clapton only licensed his music for Power Gig which was the shittiest shit of the music gaming genre. Fuck him for preventing Rock Band for getting his songs so I can't play them on easy Pro Guitar. That goes for the other 2 Power Gig exclusives, DMB and Kid Rock. Ha, fuck ever playing Kid Rock, DMB maybe I guess.

Two albums that just kick ass. J.Geils Band Full House. 1972 in Detroit on New years eve. Maybe the best live album ever. Also John Mayall The Turning Point from 1968. No drums just finger style guitar and harmonica and John Mayall blues. Excellent.

Overrated? Could be, depending on your perception of how he is rated.

Forget all the cheesy crap... I'd personally like to forget that Phil Collins produced one of his albums.

But listen to the Layla outtake jams (available on the 20th anniversary edition)... or to "Rita Mae"... or to his version of "Eyesight to the Blind"... the guy kicked some serious arse.
