You lose. Immediately after the Sox lost on Sunday, he put away his Indians hat and started wearing his Royals cap.

I don't think that would do any good. I'm sure when he was a cop he was like Barney Fife- only one bullet and that was in his pocket.

What a dumb call he made today. The hooded one said that the Sox don't have as many pitchers as they would like, and that's why Ohman is pitching so much (Sox have 37 1/3 IP, Ohman has 2). They came north with 12 pitchers, instead of the usual 11. Maybe Ozzie should burn out Thornton and Sale in April. Stick to painting.

They are only losing to the Royals because the Royals keep hitting fastballs! Farmio told me that last night and today.

taking that one step further, Don Cooper not doing a good job with this pitchers? AJ not calling a good game?

Oh well, then it is totally wrong and should have never been stated, as I did only listen to the 9th and on last night and the 1 inning today, both times it was Farmio explaining to me that the Royals have gotten everything on fastballs.

So, Mr Sox, then why do they keep throwing fastball? whether it is Castillo or AJ (Last night)

Buehrle is Buehrle. He gives up hits and runs in bunches when he is bad. He has done this his entire career for the most part. Next start, he might go out there and give up 3 hits over 7 innings.

Floyd was leaving his breaking ball up in the zone early last night, so he was relying on his fastball for most of the first 2-3 innings. The Royals picked up on this and sat on the heater. Later in the game (when he retired 10 in a row I think), he was using a straight change as the curve was still very spotty.

Since you are all things Sox on this board, I figured I would waste my time in posting this for you.

At least get the facts straight. What I said was that Guillen was using Ohman poorly. Ohman is strictly a situational lefty and should ONLY be used to get left handed hitters out. Guillen had left him in a couple times to face right handed hitters-I assume because he was hoping not to use yet another pitcher in that inning. Of course, Ohman got hit and the move was stupid. If he couldn't afford the spot in the bullpen to Ohman as strictly a situation lefty, Ohman never should have been signed and brought North with the ballclub.

But to address the question about my fandom originally the topic here, I have no plans to become either a Royals or Indians fan. The Twins are still my favorite team in that division.

Steve, you said Ohman had a bigger workload because at the time the Sox only had 11 pitchers. I heard the call. You are wrong. Again. Good work.

He had the same guy that proofread his website proofread his notes for the call...he thinks he is right.

Yes, because of the fact that the Sux only had 11 pitchers helped Ozzie to foolishly leave Ohman in games to face right handed hitters rather than using him strictly as a situational lefty. Thats the only role Ohman should be asked to fill. Ozzie has misused him. Since that time, they called up Jeff Gray, yet Ozzie has chosen NOT to use him and has instead over-used guys like Sale. Ozzie has done almost as bad a job managing his bullpen as they have done pitching.

Just after posting that, Ohman is sent into the game to face a RIGHTY and promptly gives up a double.

The first 2 guys in the inning were RH hitters and he gave up a double followed by a single. Then he finally gets to face a lefty (Abreau) and strikes him out. Ozzies use of Ohman has been atrocious. A positive note for Ohman....by giving up just 1 run in the inning he worked, he actually LOWERED his ERA a tiny bit, as it was just over 10 going into this game.

The IP numbers that I quoted were from MLB.com. Those are called facts. You are assuming, and calling me out for not having my facts correct? He had three appearances at that point, and two were in mop up duty. You need to open the windows when you paint.

Your baseball analysis = FAIL

What cracks me up is how Simple Steve thinks he's making some grand baseball observation. There were people on this board saying they were worried about how Ozzie would use Ohman before the season even started.

Maybe he can call in this week and say he doesn't think the Twins bullpen is very good.

So you agree with me then that you were wrong.
