Huge strides = not throwing the ball underarm sideways while running perpendicular to the throw...

How many games back will the the Cubs will be by the All Star Break? I'm thinking 4.5 games.

I'd take that at this point. This injury news with the pitchers worries me......

It's not gonnan happen, let's just give the kid a chance. I bet you that by the AS game we're already saying this kid has made HUGE strides and looks much better at SS

I disagree that he'll make huge strides.

I wouldnt put it past the cubs to say that he has though

I just turned Rome on for the first time in years and this was the very first thing I heard.

"Do you like apples?"
"The Red Sox are 0-4, how do you like them apples?"

Immediately bringing it.

 There needs to be Rome Resurgence around here. Great week to have it with the Smackoff this Friday.

WAR Starlin Castro being the SS of the future.

Rack me.

I think I'm back on full time with Rome going forward.

I'll probably just switch to B&B at 2 or so. Don't really miss much at the begining anyway.

This thread progressing into Rome-isms is better than anything Starlin Castro will do with the glove

He's Alfonso Soriano waiting to happen. Sort of. And that's not a terrible thing, at least not for the next 10 years.

Ya know...the asian prospect.

Ill show myself out

Castro will never be a good defensive short stop...but he's gonna be a legendarily awesome hitting second baseman

Against Spiegel's wishes, I wonder if they put some of the show pot money on the Dbacks today.
