he was a projected first rounder? Here is one projection of him.

Smard reminds me of the guy right before he got here that couldn't figure it out. big rh reliever who had the straight fastball. I think he liked to party and the Cubs sent him to the Tigers (or the Yanks?)...forgot his name.
