A little before this segment I heard Waddle get a little snippy with a caller named Steve, saying something along the lines of "Why don't we just have a new weekly segment where Steve calls to reiterate what we just said?"

Was that Elmhurst Steve or a different Steve?

You would've known if it was the Brand. He would've announced his presence with authority.

i don't think he should've had something professionally prepared by a chef. the idea of "eating crow" is basically eating something either you find disgusting or society deems disgusting. he should've been forced to eat something he doesn't typically like.

then again this feeds into the ESPN vanilla principle and it has to end up being a fluff piece instead of something actually entertaining.

unless he didn't like it; i didn't hear him actually eat it.

yeah it is typical espn/disney lame .. mike n mike are like two little girls making gay bets and greenberg always seems to want to dress up, waddle n silverman are the same way two girls making lame ass bets.

Did they deep fry it and use some hot sauce?

He ate it, at least that was the effect over the radio- they said NBC5 and Fox32 were there to film , as well, so maybe they have tape on it. At first he raved about the taste, which leads to Waddle's point about it being prepared by a pro chef. After a few bites, he said the "gamey" flavor became much more evident, and he was less enthusiastic about the idea.

I doubt there are alot of recipies available for "food that tastes like shit", I guess the cook could have simply fried it up to make sure it was not raw and added no flavor, but that wouldn't present much of an advertising plug for his restaraunt, right? The chef indicated that he had researched the crow idea for them, but there was absolutely no way he could/would do it- crows are like vultures, eating dead animals and crap like that. Wild ones are too risky to be carrying disease. I know guys who hunt them/shoot them, but no one has ever talked about eating them, hence the old timey saying.

So regale us with some of the most awesome kinds of bets between your favorite radio hosts that blow this away- do they let the winner do their sister/wife, or maybe a facial tatoo, or have an appendage amputated......huh?

I know I really want to hear more stories about these guys and their bookies and all their great inside betting info: to me that sure is great radio!
