Does Danks pitch the 9th? Or does Oz use Thornton?

He will.
What needs to be stepped up is the defense. And when the Sox have a 1 or 2 run lead in the 7th inning, the goddam bullpen needs to make that hold up for the W. No more of the extra inning shit.

Just need 3 outs, is it too much to ask for a 1-2-3 inning, Mr. Sale?

Why can't closing a game ever be easy?

Uh oh. Hawk's found another catch phrase.

Matt Thornton and the bullpen should be tarred and feathered.

Thanks for ruining a gem by Danks today for my fantasy team. Ozzie should have let him finish it.

As long as Ozzie keeps putting Thornton in to close, they deserve to lose. Thornton is not a closer and this bullpen is FUCKING garbage.

I'm watching with no audio...what was the A's manager complaining about when Ozzie came out for the second time to bring in Thornton?

I won't blame Thornton for this one. Sale and Crain were garbage.

They're fine everywhere but the 9th.

Ozzie came out and talked to Crain. A's announced Sweeney to pinch hit. Ozzie came back out and brought Thornton in. Manger didn't know you could do that.

Ozzie is going to have to make his starters pitch complete games or at least into the ninth and leave with two outs. This bullpen is fucking pathetic. This extra inning bullshit is going to tax this already putrid bullpen for normal games.

That's 7 walks from the 6th inning til now.

Mercy. This pen has already cost at least 2 games. Some say 3. Don't make this #4.

5th overall.

Ozzie is a dumb fuck. Thornton has no confidence. After they lose this game, Thornton should never see the ninth again. If he does, Kenny should beat the fuck out of him.

Now I'll blame Thornton.

This bullpen has given up 12 ninth inning runs this season.

Well, maybe this best thing for everybody on this team is the off day tomorrow.

I knew this pen had some questions, but christ I never thought they would be this bad.

I'll give Ozzie credit today. He used Sale and Crain before Thornton. They sucked too.

This is just a shame. This team plays well and can win a lot of games, then these Caller Bobs come in and blow it. How much of a cushion do they need?

It's so bad that I wouldn't be entirely opposed to seeing Shark in the Sox pen.

 No way. Put a position player in there. At least there's a chance that they would hit the ball right at a Sox fielder

Please don't tell me how hard Pierre works, that running, jumping bullshit doesn't help him catch fly balls. He should be shaggin flys until Mull & Hanley come on. As for the closer, stick with Thorton ansd Ozzie and Coop will be lookin for jobs. The only time his fastball moves is when its hit, and he can't get his slider over.Give it to Santos and see what the fuck he can do,because Crain and Sales can't do it. Why not him. Plus Juan picked off with Dunn, up and these 3 outs didn't seem so hard for the A's to get.I'm begining to think it is a sprint and not a marathon, because pitchers keep sprinting in from the bullpen every ninth inning

I'm beginning to think 'All In' is referring to how many pitchers it'll take to close games.
