I was watching this game on MLB gameday, and noted that Thornton threw 30 pitches. Not one of them was offspeed. I want to know what that was about.

Have you ever watched Matt Thornton pitch in an MLB game? The K/9 and H/9 numbers this guy has racked up the last few years are unbelievable considering that MLB hitters are basically sitting dead red on every pitch.
