According to Dan the guy that punched Chet was over-served and he was given drinks during the game . I thought college events were alcohol free?

I've been to a few college football games and to a few Big Ten events at the United Center and no alcohol was served.

not sure, but im willing to bet the loophole is that because it was the allstate arena, and not on a college campus. cant speak about the UC, never been to a college event.

they do serve beer at certain montana state bobcat bball games though!

Yea, I've never been to a college event where alcohol is served. Does Mac have this right?

I've been to the big 10 tourney at the UC and the brew pub was open. Not sure if Rose-State Arena has a bar or not??

Maybe he wanted to be sure that people came to his appearance at Sportclips in Elmhurst this coming Saturday.

Well if ol' Mob Don Stephens got his way, he;d be getting his beer sales revenue.

Good Call Keyser. I bet the pub can be open but they can't sell beer from any vendor/concessions.

I know not of what you speak.

Most of my avatars are housed on photobucket in an ESPN1000 album.

Work harder Hardy Boys and Woodridge.. err Nance Drew. ;)

I believe they are referring to Mac just crediting Harry Timbercrank with the above thought.

I love how because the photobucket is named ESPN1000 that is must be automatically assumed that ESPN1000 set up that account.

This is indeed the case guys. I was always thankful that Marquette games were at the Bradley Center, which is not owned, operated, or located on a college campus. We were one of only a handful of college sports venues where alcohol was not prohibited by the NCAA.

Nas in the loop? For a minute I thought that was Nas out there today or something, but that was not the voice I remember. And Nas was not in the army. Forget it...damn.

I laughed at this too. Once Grid suggested that anyone could use this acccount but that it was expensive. Than he deleted that reference and wrote:

Funny.

Hey Chet, I'll get some answers when I'm up there this weekend for the Louisville game. To quote the Dude, "This aggression will not stand, man!"
