Has anyone noticed North's repeated references lately to his contract not being renewed? Based upon how often it comes up, it sounds as if Pappy is actually a bit concerned. Today he again implied that he wouldn't be back next year to which Annie stated "they (management) are just playing hardball".

I think Pappy will be re-signed, just not at nearly the money he gets now and with none of the control.

I think he'll be resigned as well, for a lot less money and less control over who he works with.

I think he's doing the Howard Stern, Mancow, etc act of mentioning his contract often on the air.....not sure what that accomplishes though.

They do sound like they are just playing out the string. Annie would be up just before the next Bear's season starts.

Playing out the string is the right phrase. They sure ain't running the table or winning out. These guys are so gone. Not resigned for less, not reassigned, just gone.
