The show is dead folks. The return of Mike "Man of the Fans" Murphy was the final star to align in the overstuffed sports talk radio sky.

If Murph gets his own morning show than it's curtains for Mac and he will be forced to slink back to his "palatial estate" and make videos with Chet and Nort'. The Radio universe will have come full circle as the prophecy foretold.

I've really tried to give the show a chance this week, but there just hasn't been much of anything that would even qualify as interesting. Which is crazy because I did enjoy listening to Mac when he returned.

You have a lazy host doing the same stuff everyday with no real preparation, just winging it. Why really listen? The lack of interest turns into lack of ratings quickly.

The Mac show doesn't give us much to work with, Frank...sad but true. The show thread-actual show dichotomy is one of give and take. Actually the thread may be more parasitic in nature, if the host doesn't have anything to give than the tape worm is SOL.

So, what you're really saying is the Mac Show is no more original than an Elmhurst Steve call/text.

I think the problem with Spiegel is that he tries too hard to act just like Mac. Also, his reliance on the "we're happy for ya" drop has gotten very, very old.
