I don't really know how to even ask this and have it make sense.
The only games I play online (PS3) are Fight Night Round 4, and Fight Night Champion.
I played a guy yesterday, he was Ali, and I was Foreman, I think.
His record was 0-1, with a 100% DNF (Did not finish).
I KO'd him in the 2nd round.
I threw a total 91 punches, landing 49.
He threw a total 183 punches, landing 72.
He threw double the amount of punches than I did, and it seemed like the system would slow down when I would punch.
After I won, I looked at his stats, and he was a Level 9, with like over 600 trophies overall.
This happens alot, and I guess my question is this;
Am I being spammed? Are these people trolls or "mults" that know the secret handshake on how to fuck with your connection?
It's so frustrating, do people who are good at games, create different log-ins to pretend they're bad, just to try trick you?
I hope someone knows what I'm trying to say, because I know no one on the EA message board would divulge the secrets.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

This is your problem and no one else's. If you posted on a PS3/Gaming Board, you would reasonably expect not to recieve "smarmy fucked up jokes".

If, however, you post on a board in which you know that 90% of what is posted is a smarmy fucked up joke, than you know in advance what to expect. Hell, you even went so far as to put (Please no bullshit) in the thread title.

Don't post your life's problems in this forum and then start pointing fingers when you don't like what you get, when you knew what was coming.

I'll just assume that just as there are trolls/mults on message boards, the same is true for online gaming.
I'm not even asking for anyone to tell me how to cheat, but my internet connection is 99.9% reliable 24/7,
and when I get some douche with great stats, acting like he doesn't know how to play the game, it just pisses me the fuck off.
Thanks for the laugh, Camps, and I was hoping to get a little more insight from Lipid, (resident expert) just on a gamer's mentality in general.

What I'm trying to say is this;
If xXJackShit2011Xx has a record of 2-26, but knows all the moves, hyperpunches, and beats you in the 1st round -
I'll just assume he/she has a recognizable (regular) login and he/she created a new name just to fuck with people.

Sony has had this problem going back to the Socom days. It's nothing new. Certain games have hacks...and you get what you pay for.

Honestly, I'm guessing it was just a poor connection...after all his one prior loss was a DNF, and when you talk about the game slowing down when you tried throwing punches, that fits...I'm guessing it wasn't intentional, especially since he still lost...
