So ESPN is broadcasting meaningless spring football games this year. Lets hype up some 5 star recruits and sleeper Heisman candidates before they get injured.

I know, I know it's only Spring Football, but if he stays healthy remember this name, Lamar Miller. U of Miami RB. That is all.

When was The U on? I caught some of the Arkansas spring game today but never saw The U.

Admittedly only caught the highlight package on ESPN. Saw U of Michigan highlights as well. They didn't look too exciting.

I love college football, but not even close to enough to actually care about spring football.

Me too, but I thought I'd shed it some light since I haven't seen ESPN do this before.

Lamar Miller, I think number 6 on the U.

I watch a little of the spring games, probably would watch college football now than some things that are on.

My only observation, and this one from a couple of weeks ago, Texas has some quarterback issues, the backups looked better than the starter and one of the backups is Colt Mccoy's brother.

Way back when....before I was a hater of the Irish my uncle would take me to the Blue and Gold game. I think I went 3 or 4 times. I was 12, but it was alot of fun and I got to run around on the field after it was over. I actually took a chunk of grass out of the endzone that had been churned up by someone cleats and I grew it at home for a few years.

Versus had the Notre Dame spring game and ESPN3 had a bunch of other ones. It was crazy stupid.

And Jordan Shipley's younger bro is one of the WRs...

I think Muschamp got out at the right time. That Texas offense is at least another season away from dominating even a weakened Big 12.

The best thing I read about the U was Seantral Henderson, all everything recruit, 6'7" 330 lineman reported his max bench to be 275. He's in trouble.

Oh shit. That's where he went. I forgot about the guy. Did he red shirt last year or his he considered a sophomore? I'm sure with professional weight lifting regimen he'll up his bench a little. The kid is only 19.

I am pretty sure I read Henderson along with 5 backups is suspended the first game, Labor Day against Maryland.

I had fun at the Northwestern Spring Game.

I used the children deftly to hang out with the NFL crew. Corey Wootton didn't have a good comeback for my question "How awesome did it feel to end Favre's career?" Clearly he's more classy than I am. ;)

Others in the picture include Tyrell Sutton (Carolina Panthers), Sherrick McMannis (Houston Texans) and Corbin Bryant (draft hopeful)

He is a sophomore, listed at 345 which means he has had a year to gain bench.

I'm not saying it's good. For his weight and size it's unacceptable. Miami is known for the workout facilities, hopefully Henderson finds them.

Watching some of Minnesota's on the Big 10 Network, they had Gray playing quarterback, so it could be a move from wide receiver to QB.

He was playing both last season and he will likely go back to QB this year now that Adam Weber is gone.

Man, was I wrong about Weber... or was I just so right on Decker?

I think Weber suffered from two things 1) Lack of a really good RB and 2) all the offensive changes over his 4 years. He was a decent big ten QB but wasnt able to make it to the upper echelon.
