So now he's taking credit for "pioneering" the concept of PTI, too? There is no end to this man's ego, his bullshit, and his self-delusion. If being paired with Jiggets and arguing sometimes was so great, why is he now paired with Fred, who wouldn't argue with him if he said Christmas was in July? Or since everything to him is about race, is he referring to the pairing of a white guy and a black guy?

Just shut up, Mike. Shut up and go away.

Holy shit. Pappy is saying he is what "PTI is". Oh my god. First of all. He got Jigs fired. 2nd of all, the two guys on PTI are smart guys. They are prepared for that half hour show and are both smart. They hit alot of issues in that time span. My god. Pappy is such an ass hole.

Jiggs was a stumbling, say nothing guy. Pappy was/is a loud mouth idiot. They are nothing like PTI. Look at this guy angling for a rebirth of what he had. After he got Jigs fired for his ego. Pappy and Jigs were liked because it was first and different. Nobody wants Pappy in any format now.

Hey Pappy. I'm not sure about this but I don't think that Jigs comes from any white people. How the hell can you work with a guy who has no "white" intelligence in him. YOU F*CKING ASS HOLE.

The sad part to me is that he couldn't go 2 minutes without bragging about himself. Would it be too much to ask just to give an old friend a plug?

So basically any situation where 2 people talk to each other traces back to Mike "since that's what me and Jiggs was doing". Mike North pioneered conversation!

North has officially lapped Steve Dahl in the "I invented air, language, the question mark, et. all" department. What a pud!

THIS JUST IN -- NORTH TAKES CREDIT FOR HUMAN RACE WALKING UPRIGHT. "Dat's right," says the WSCR sports-talk host. "Until I pioneered da concept of wallkin' on two legs, da whole human race wuz eeder walking on all fours or swingin' in trees. I just came up wit the idea one day after I also invented da wheel an' discovered polio vaccine. Ain't I sometin'?" When asked what other great benefits for mankind he was currently working on, North would only reply, "I can't really say. I like to wait a while after dese tings I invent catch on, an' den kinda take credit later."

Now that we know ESPN bases its shows on concepts Mike has "pioneered," I guess we'll soon be seeing a show on ESPN with two guys and a woman. The first guy will spout off stupid comments in a bad Chicago accent, the second guy will nod and go, "You're absolutely right" to everything he says, and the woman will occasionally say something totally irrelevant and give the weather every 20 minutes.

Have you guys noticed too that after the creation of the MNMS, Howard Stern went to start a show with a woman reading the news and a guy named Fred on Sirius radio?

I just heard it the other day. Howard tries to sound like North too by saying controversial things.

Deride North all you want, but North and Jiggs did create modern sports talk radio in this city.

North and Jiggs took a medium that, up until that time, was like a linear religion....god talks to priest, priest interprets gods words for the masses. What The Monsters did was give the masses a direct line to their gods. Even more importantly, they did not view their role as a branch of the public relations department for sports teams, they viewed their role as being custodians for the public trust (for lack of a better term). It was a monumental shift in sports radio in this city. The Vatican II of sports radio.

I'm sure you understand that my analogy is not placing sports on the same level as religion. It is just used for comparisons sake.

Funny I thought you meant they brought the Mike and The Mad Dog show to Chicago.
