Thus far, it's pretty damn amazing...while it doesn't have the same shock value of "holy shit I'm playing a first person puzzle shooter with this awesome portal gun" that the original did, the charm and wit are still there...not to mention some really cool shit later in the game. Also actually has something of a story...not going to be made into a movie anytime soon, but they are trying...

Btw, picked this up for 360 as I have more friends who would coop on there, but if anyone grabs it for PS3, please let me know...I'm curious how the limtied steam functionality is on it and I could definately be arm twisted into grabbing that version as well...

I haven't played a ton of it, but some of the stuff in there is pretty funny. Good, witty stuff.

I never played the first game, but I have heard really good things about the original and now this new edition. I'm still trudging through Borderlands at the moment, so we'll see.

Maybe I can pick up the original on Glyde for cheap.
