Ozzie has 4 more innings to manufacture some runs. All that needs to happen is that each inning the leadoff man bunts for a hit, steals a base, gets sacrificed to third and scores on a sac fly. Then they can lose in the 10th.

They will at least win 2. I am betting on 3. Bats will wake up.

Aren't they in Detroit this weekend? White Sox woke up last season and started on their 30-5 or whatever run during a series vs the Tigers.

Is DDD a Sox fan?

I mean the avatar seems like it conflicts with that

They are in Detroit starting tomorrow, and I feel sorry for whoever Ed Goren & David Hill from FOX Sports assign to call the game Saturday afternoon at 3:10p, weather permitting...

If they play tonight, Mark Buehrle & Justin Verlander are the scheduled starting pitchers in the first of 3 between the White Sox & Tigers. There's a 40% chance of rain in tonight's forecast in Detroit.

There's also a good chance that 2B Gordon Beckham will be back in the starting lineup for the Sox, but maybe not in the #2 hole. Beckham wasn't in last night's lineup due in large part to a 2-for-25 slump that's dropped his batting average to .222, but he told reporters that he's "putting the ball in play" and that hitting coach Greg Walker maintains that Gordon's swing is good. Ideally, SS Alexei Ramirez would be the best replacement, but Guillen thinks that Alexei's a run producer at the bottom of the lineup. He's talking about CF Alex Rios, he of the .176 BA, or 3B Brent Morel, he of the .220 BA, as possible new #2 hitters as soon as tonight, weather permitting.

Gordon's replacement last night, Omar Vizquel, did a pretty good job in last night's 9-2 Sox laugher over the Rays. For a 44 year-old, Vizquel went 2-for-5 with 2 RBI's, a run scored and a stolen base. As much as I don't like Vizquel sporting #11, the guy still gets it done!

White Sox lineup is in for tonight's first of three with the Tigers in Detroit, and you'll notice a change or two. Here are the guys who will face the Tigers' Justin Verlander, weather permitting...

1 Juan "2 for 4, 3 Runs Scored" Pierre LF
11 Omar "2 for 5, 2 RBI's, 1 Run, 1 Stolen Base" Vizquel SS
20 Carlos "I Like Batting 3rd, Ozzie" Quentin RF
14 Paul "3 for 5, 2 RBI's & 2 Runs Scored" Konerko 1B
32 Adam "Time to Hit Another Homer!" Dunn DH
51 Alex "Batting .176 and Ozzie Wants to Bat Me 2nd?" Rios CF
12 A.J. "2 Run Single" Pierzynski C
15 Gordon "At Least My Defense is Saving the Sox Ass!" Beckham 2B
22 Brent "Paging Dayan Viciedo Down in Charlotte..." Morel 3B

Mark "Lucky to Be 1-1" Buehrle starts for the Sox in the first of three this weekend at Comerica Park.

Sam Fuld's dick would have made that catch while he held a beer in one hand and waved to the crowd with the other.

I have been done with Buerhle for the last two years. He is a fan fav, but he is an average pitcher at best. Ship him out with AJ and Floyd when the Sox are out of it by June.

agreed man, been saying for 2 years buerhle does not have good stuff and move him when he has value, i think he may get slapped around in the nl too now..maybe too late for kenny to get a decent return..just waited too long.
