I think he only does it after his last update of the day, usually 5:30. So it seems to me that its his own kind of sign off.

I know it's a line from "Caddyshack" when Bill Murray is laying in wait to kill the gopher. Maybe George swiped it from there, but I would think it has been around longer than that.

Coach. That is an old line. It's been used for years. I don't know where it originated. But I can't beleive you never heard of it. I find it funny that you actually thought there was a women at the Score writing George's copy and that George was literally saying that she was done writing. LOL.

In the early years, SCORE brass was obviously attempting to make each of it's personalities more recognizable by using a phrase. They used to print shirts with the phrases on it. George's ended up being thats all she wrote. I'm sure that t shirt was a big seller.

Only if they plastered on the Homosexual Warewolf head shot to go along with the saying.

Does he even write his own? I remember when they really screwed a story up in an update that people ran with, he blamed whoever wrote the copy.

I don't like him either. Don't listen to the Score much now so don't hear him, but hated how he always seemed to put in his personal opinoin into every story

George and Jim Johnson similar? OH WOW MAN! I worked with both for quite some time and I cant think of two guys more DIFFERENT.

Always been a Jim Johnson fan as an on the air personality. Comes across as totally believeable and genuine. His interplay with Roe makes for a great listen. Be interested to know if it's an act or if thats just "who he is".
