Yeah, but frankly how anyone thinking clearly might think that Matt and Mac would embrace such an idea is a fair question. An anniversary show is supposed to celebrate the show and the things that may have stood out in the time since the show first began broadcasting. How a bunch of guys that are connected to a website that is dying a slow and painful death deserve to be thrown into the mix is a S-T-R-E-T-C-H.

I can see how you'd think the site is dying if you listen to mac, believe anything he says unquetioningly, are a relative outcast amongst the community and you never, ever go to events because you're generally regarded as unwelcome everywhere you go, but it's not really the truth, is it?
Site is as alive and well as ever.

Just that Mackey doesn't get the love he used to, and since he's lost that lovin feelin, he thinks its "the others' fault". The old, "It's not me its you" syndrome. Kind of like how you blamed us for your exile.

no effort for the anniversary show as a tribute to Mackeyfish.

However I have many ideas for a going away party.

Your posts certainly read like a slow and painful death but you don't post here enough to kill the board.

I wonder if reports of CSFMB's imminent demise are at all influenced by the recent addition of sponsor SPORTS-SCREAMING.COM or whatever that site is that I've been hearing on the webstream of late.

I believe neither Mac nor Goff were willing to read live-copy of an auto dealer today that conflicted with their own car "guys" but I may have that wrong. I was doing other things with that on in the background.

I don't know if this is the site, but this is hilarious.

$1.25M in funding in 2007. The url doesn't even work right now.

How do you put Drago ahead of Mike Tyson? That place is stupid.

If there is one thing the internet needed, it was another sports message board.

Also, is it sports houting or sport shouting?

Frank, C_Howitt_Fealz, and me are leaving the board if true!

First off, I would love to know when this "exile" took place??? I stopped posting regularly, because I was bored with the site and it was not Baseball season, which is the time of year I post more regularly. Don't go getting delusions of grandeur, that you or any group here or elsewhere else, could ever had any control over that. The site evolved from one where a larger group that discussed sports related topics in a spirited fashion, turned into a small fraternity of individuals with a deluded sense of self-importance. Thats how the kind of thinking that inspired this thread can come about. Thinking that this site and some individuals from it, might take part in a 20th anniversary celebration of The Score. Now, having "Elmhurst Steve" play a role in such a celebration...that would make sense!

Doug rocks, Frank's good. No complaints. They should definitely do the show.

I wouldn't be there, cause I really don't care for Mac, but still.

Where is the significant connection to the show???? The point is, for the VAST majority of listeners to the show, there would be no connection between the show and these "performers". While Mac has mentioned the site on his show ( moreso in the past), only a tiny minority of show listeners ever visits the site. Thus the majority of people at the reunion would be wondering "who the hell are these guys"??? It makes more sense to involve people/acts that the majority of guests at the reunion will be familiar with.

Did they all come to the jail for a concert?
