Keyser, you suffer from "battered prospect syndrome". You'll get over it once they finally send him down.

Didn't you win some "major award"? If you're the best this place has to offer, then it is truly the suck.

"Expectations being way too high" are a big part of what makes a player a bust - in any sport. Looking back, expectations were probably too high on Ryan Leaf, right?

My point is he may just be an average .250 hitting (which is what he finished with last), plus defender 2nd baseman. He isn't a AAA player, he is ready for the major leagues. They probably moved him up too quickly, but I really do not see what sending him down would do. My definition of "bust" is someone who cannot play in the majors, like Brian Anderson or Josh Fields, Beckham is not that. It is only his third year.

Yes it sucks that he is slumping, and its really hurting the club, but its not just his fault obviously.

Spaulding is the best this place has to offer.

She won Poster of the Year.

I'm not rooting against the kid, Keyser. There's nothing I like more than seeing a great player from start to finish, even if he happens to be a Sock. I thought he may be that kind of player. I think I may have been wrong.

I don't like when mom and great great great Grandpa fight. It normally leads to better presents, but he only gives me Werther's Originals and makes me sit on his lap.

Couldn't you have gone with slightly older sister or cousin there?

Makes me picture myself in light denim mom jeans, a school mom t shirt, and what my grandma called tenny grippers.

That dude in your gif is going to sprain his penis, RPB.

It would have ruined my barely entertaining bit. I'm pretty sure I'm older, so take no offense whatsoever.

You were thinking of reason in dockers up to his pits, black socks, and garters. Maybe a nice cardigan when it gets chilly.

Damn you RPB! It used to feel so special, now it's all ruined. You haven't lived until you've seen Reason in relax mode after a long day consulting Civil War reenactment scenes.

Yeah I would say that an entire season is a pretty long slump.

And .200 so far this year.

Bad.

Besides the half-year he was called up he has been a huge disappointment, one could call this year and the last year a long slump or at the very least a long sub-par baseball existence. I like the the guy, love his hair and think he is pretty cool but so far he has been a huge letdown. This was a guy that was having his picture taken with Jeter and all that, received a lot of hype and hasn't lived up to it.

Maybe 'bust' was too harsh a word but he is quickly approaching it. If he bats below .250 this year than he will be a bust or close to it.
