The stands are empty, the cupboards are bare and Uncle Jerry has spent a lot of money for no results since 2005. Kenny needs to relax and restock this team and build an actual foundation and then head forward. It is early enough in the season for the Sox to recover but if they keep playing this way we'll be seeing heads on pikes outside of The Cell sooner rather than later.

Kenny has stated repeatedly he will not rebuild....Rock....meet Hard place.

You can say the same about the minors, Aggravated. If the White Sox wanted to send 2B Gordon Beckham and/or 3B Brent Morel down to Triple "A" Charlotte, for examples, chew on these for a moment.

First, do you really want to see Omar Vizquel and/or Brent Lillibridge taking over at second if they sent Beckham down? Second, do you cringe like I do if Mark Teahen once again becomes the everyday third baseman defensively? Also, do you call up guys like Dayan Viciedo, who's been playing right field down on the farm, and Eduardo Escobar, a switch-hitting shortstop in the Vizquel mode only hitting .217 at Charlotte? The point I'm trying to make is if you sent Beckham and/or Morel down, there's no one worthy to replace them.
