Mac's back

Spiegs talks about the Bulls
Mac probably tells stories of 4 large men in a motor home in Kintucky
Sox won a series
Cubs did things (I just have no idea what they were)

OK, today is officially my breaking point: Spiegel is annoying the shit out of me today. Literally, after ~1hr of listening to the Mac show I had to go take a heaving crap.

I've been fortunate enough to have a free morning, so I had a nice ~2hr jog/walk through the forest preserves with my trusty radio walkman and Spiegel is just making me wanna chuck the radio into the woods.

My favorite moment thus far was him basically telling a caller to shut up and listen when the caller presented a question and started to elaborate on it. Otherwise, we've got a 4-alarm case of the giggles and an extra helping of that phony radio voice chiming in with so much insight that the Insight bowl is going to sue him for copyright infringement. Is it June yet?!?!

Still though, Tom Waddle is from the David Kaplan School of Yuppie Douchebaggery and if I listen to Silvy for more than 5 minutes I have to blow my nose, so I suppose the Mac show is going to score a pyrrhic victory in this radio war of attrition.

Why is Joe Cowley writing-about/talking Bulls right off the bat? Since when does Joe Cowley have basketball thoughts that are worth massmedia distribution?

I agree about Spiegel. I didn't mind him when I first started listening to this show but he's gone downhill fast. The Carlos Boozer impression is getting old fast.

Mac: "Maybe Carlos Boozer should get some blow [cocaine]... it'll help him to get his feet moving to guard the pie-faced man Josh Smith... [half-assed impression of a coked up boozer talking to himself so he gets hyped to guard j-smoove]"

Spiegel: "heh heh... Len Bias approves of that! hehehehe"

The Danny Mac Show: Where blowing up your heart with cocaine inspires comedic greatness.

You can thank Douchebag for that.

This is a fantastic description of how I feel about the Silvaddle show. Spiegel hasn't been annoying me quite as much as you, and I still like Mac. If I'm listening to sportstalk from 9-1 the Dannymacshow gets my attention.

* channels the essence of David Kaplan *

"Hey, I just tell it like it is...... and tell your friends to follow @TheKapMan for the latest in Chicago sports breaking news!

* rids himself of that putrid aura... and suddenly has to take a shit. guess I don't need my fantasy team any more.... *

I dont get a chance to listen every day...but when I do, why do I ALWAYS have to hear Dan talk about what size pants he is wearing? "yesterday I had the 34's, today I have to have the 36's....I'm hoping to squeeze back into the 34's...Maybe the listeners can offer some advice about a good brand of stretchy waist bands....I mean I have some golf pants that allow for fluctuating waist lines....but..." Ahhh....Who gives a fuck Mr. Vain.

I'm a Mac fan but whether it is Spiegs or the time slot or something...this current show/format blows! I have been trending more towards S&W than this show for sometime now.

Always love it when a guy who looks like a cartoon character criticizes the looks of people. Mac must not own a fucking mirror.
Mac knows all about being coked up and talking to himself.

Sometimes Mac comes off as the textbook egomaniac with an inferiority complex.

I'm sure Mac has a closet full of Zubaz.
