A few "simple" tweaks that can help turn the show around. Start by launchin anne, no one listens to the Score for news/traffic updates and there are much better options in the market for that type of info. Annie bogs the show down and causes the show to get off topic. Next, involve Rock more, Rock adds a much needed younger outlook. North is at his best when he is trying to argue against someone that has a different opinion than his. Make the rant and jag bag segments listener driven. All of the other shows use callers to drive the bits. Murph has tool of the week and B&B have Who you Crappin. This is an example of how the North show can reconnect with the listeners. Finally and most importantly, bring in an anagonist for north. He has been at his best when he has a strong partner. It can be argued that the day he left Jiggs was the day he started going downhill.

The show was actually good when they forced you to try this format out a few days, and then you lost a lot of people when you said 'screw what people like, i'm doing it this way'. And spin it anyway you want, you are underperforming when you can't beat those national other guys, as your ads put it. So yes, we'll have a post mike north era since you need to wack off to other woman instead of just using the internet.

You cant improve it because Mike wants to do it his way, any other way, North will walk and that be a marked improvment.

If the score wanted ratings, hire Mancow, I dont even like him, but he will bring in ratings and if North wants to stay, team him with Bernstein, Let boers team up with Mulligan and give Hanley his walking papers.

Mancow - 6-10

North and Bernstein- 10-2

Boers and Mulligan - 2-6

Its a pipe dream, but I would tune in for sure.

Mancow is a low-life worse than North will ever be. He imitated Stern and could not compete at the same game. There is a reason why Mancow has not been picked up by another Chicago station.

Mancow makes up 1/2 of what he does on the radio, maybe with Sports as a topic he doesn't need to do that.

The guy played a role perfectly for years and he would need to change somewhat, but I actually think he could do it, with Mulligan handling the sports intense stuff.

I don't understand why some of you would want Mancow on the Score. You'd be the same people ripping him for not talking sports, or not doing his homework, etc.

I actually liked Mancow's show - it was ridiculous, but it made me laugh, which most of these other morning shows can't do, and that's why I look for music nowadays, but I want to listen to sports talk, that's it. Hopefully, Mancow will find his way back to the FM side sometime.

That would be a great trainwreck to watch though.
