I'm not alone in my Twista assessment. Have you ever owned a Twista CD? Have you ever listened to the actual lyrical content, the wordplay, the metaphors and similies used? Or do you just dismiss it as a guy who raps really fast?

Biggie is overrated but not nearly as bad as Kid makes him out to be. He was very good, just not the best.

Twista is Chicago-Overrated. Great flow, but much like some of his other counterparts from the Chi, he's not relly ever talking about anything. Of course, there are exceptions, but there is a reason Twista never really took off the way he should have. It wasn't like he didn't get several opportunities...

Okay, so Twista sucks but Crucial Conflict gets a lot of love here. They all got that style from him. Shit, EVERYBODY who does that style got it from him (yes, Bone Thugs too).

If Twista actually had something to say I reckon he'd be one of the deadliest MCs in the game. His style/delivery is undoubtedly top notch, but the meat-n-potatoes twista song subject doesn't captivate my inner-backpacker, shrug.

I'm actually plowing through Squarepusher's Burningn'n Tree, which is a fun romp through deliciously vintage post-jazz superjungle fusion steez. Click on the album cover to be transported to a really fun song that I'm pretty sure features a flagrant Rhodes Piano.

I just found out about the new record today, (it came out 5/10) and immediately bought it on iTunes. $9.99.
