Salisbury said he's so enamored with his partner, he'd be prepared to leave the station if Rosenbloom goes, even though he has a three-year contract.

"I would say: 'Replace us both,'" Salisbury said. "I wouldn't want to work with anybody else."

And for the rest of the article, Just say NO to that 3 man booth idea!

I think any of these three man booths would work fine by me:

Waddle, Rosenbloom, Teinowitz

Waddle, Silverman, DeFalco

Waddle, Rosenbloom, Silverman

Mac, Jurko, Harry

Mac, Jurko, Hood

Sorry Sean Salisbury, I'm not in the feel good business.

I think Waddle, Silvy, and Carm would be a great three-man booth; they put that in the nine to noon and they'd sweep up everyone under 40.

Their ratings reflect that, with the show nearly doubling its audience among men 25-54 in the last ratings book.

That guy got a friend to listen too? WTF?

They were talking about the Bears cheapness this morning and Salisbury was saying how the city doesn't deserve it (fair enough), but it was interesting how he said it. He said "Not in THAT CITY, Not with that franchise". Someone tell Sean he is live on radio in Chicago right now. I would have thought he'd say Not in THIS city.

I like the threesome idea: Salisbury, Rosenbloom and Botulism.

This should be interesting:

Quote:
Rosenbloom and Waddle will work together in the 9-noon slot from March 5-9 while Salisbury is on vacation. The decision on long-term assignments will play out this spring.

How did Rosenbloom get a one year contract and Salisbury got a three year contract? Will Rosenbloom leave if Salisbury leaves?

Hopefully. After today's show, I have Rosenbloom at about Salisbury's level. His endless Lovie Smith soapbox rant today has worn my last fucking nerve. Fuck you, Chodenbloom.

Why the f*** did Silvy and Carm get broken up while Rosenbloom and Salisbury continue to pollute the airwaves!! Oh and seeing that the supremely popular Rosey and Salisbury "Steak" have been DOUBLING their ratings is driving me closer and closer to completely ridding of Sports Talk Radio!!
GET SALISBURY OFF THE AIR IN CHICAGO!! FIRE THE MORON THAT SIGNED HIM TO A 3 YEAR CONTRACT!!!

Yeah, they have went from 32 to 64 listeners, money well spent.

Too late. The jerkoff quit a couple of months after signing him to that contract. He's been long gone for awhile now having boat drinks with his pals.

Normally I don't listen to the radio past 5:30 pm, but last night I heard "The Show" for the first hour. For their first show, I thought it was easy listening and it seems to me there is the potential for it to be good. I hope the move "the show" to 9 AM.
