I like Goff a lot, but the one thing he has picked up from his time with B&B that he needs to get rid of, is his dismissal of callers opinions he doesn't agree with. But he's knowledgeble and has worked under North/Jiggets as well as B&B, so he certainly has put in his time waiting for this shot. If a change is made, I hope Matt is retained as a weekend/ fill-in guy.

I know it's your profession, but please stop painting with such a broad brush. You're probably still upset that B and B referred to you as "Steve from Elmhurst" and not your brand name. I remember when Bernsie disagreed with one of your points -- taking D Rose out in the final moments of a game. In that case, I could understand the "dismissal" because I believe your point was inane.

I've noticed Goff taking some shots at Spiegel

Do you think this song goes off in Spiegel's mind everytime Goff walks into the same room as him at the station?

In about 3 weeks you can judge the credibility of the recent predictions on this board.

I guess it's time to check with my source.

Your source has to worry about his own contract talks, recession contracts might be here to stay for your guy.

I haven't asked, but I would think it's in the works.

Wouldn't it be odd to keep asking about someone's contract? Doug doesn't strike me as the type of guy that is going to burn up somebody's phone or FB page asking if he got a deal done yet. Nice to speculate and debate here, but quite another to constantly hound someone about their livelihood.

While it may not be best for his health, I think Mac is most compelling when he's uncomfortable with his surroundings.

Mac and Berns would be a fantastic pairing. That show would kill everything.
Goff and Drinky would be fun...I miss that.

Berns solo with an active producer role would be a must listen as well.

Doug! Mac not pairing with Bernsie, come on! Ya know better!

I like Jason right now as evening host for a REGULAR SHOW, let him focus on his own show, preparing, bringing in new concepts, thoughts etc.

I know many here don't like to hear it, but Spiegs is a much better host than Goff right now. Spiegs does his homework (i.e. the folders)

Spiegs is the one who brought Florio from PFT to the station and Mac was kind of against it, but now loves it. As an example.

Spiegs has some of his own connections in the sports world. Not saying he couldn't pick up the creative concepts, but it is tough to bring it everyday......especially with a 2nd job...lol :D My Guy!
