That was a nice win. The offense actually tacked on and the bullpen did just enough to hold off all those Texas bats. Lots of pressure on Gavin to go deep into the game today.

This has been a nice little of 12-6 but it just highlights how big of a hole the Sox dug for themselves. It will take a long string of winning 2 of 3 just to get back into contention.

Cleveland has still been red hot. Sox need to get the division lead down to about 4-5 games by the AS break. That is something that can be overcome pretty quick. If its still 8-10 games by then, either Cleveland is for real or the Sox have taken another shit. I don't see the latter happening because June & early July is chock full of home games and favorable matchups for the Sox.

Dunn gets the day off against a lefty.

Last night's White Sox/Rangers' game didn't end until nearly 1:30a this morning due to all the nasty storms that ravaged through the MetroPlex. While I'm happy the Sox won last night, with all the rain & wind that hit the Ballpark in Arlington, TX, the game should have been called after the 2 teams waited some 3 hours! That's a joke!

I expect today will be the end of the 6 man rotation. Floyd goes 7 and Humber finishes the last two.

I don't know which White Sox pitcher draws the short straw when they head to Boston, GD.

Danks has the highest ERA of the starters...

In late June, there is a stretch of 15 straight Interleague games. Sox should make sure Buerhle starts 3 of those since he carves up the Nat'l league almost every time he pitches.

Farmer said that AJ had to hold up to see if the ball was going to be caught, so my guess is that no he wouldn't have been able to score without an error/bad throw.
