Probably Bulls post mortem

I have no idea

I'm listening to music today. Right now I'm going with the Pearl Jam live compilation "Live on Ten Legs".

I just wasn't feeling Bulls discussion.

I own approximately 250 Pearl Jam shows. Live on Ten Legs is the first album I've not purchased. How is it?

Not bad for a compilation. I like that it starts off with a Joe Strummer cover that they play at a lot of shows. The sound is good.

Nothing tops the quality of the 2000 bootlegs. It's been downhill since then. 2006 boots sound awful.

I have the 2009 or 2010 show they did at a festival in England...that one's not bad. I also have the boots for the Bonnaroo show in 06, and an Australian show in 09. Both decent enough. If I have time this weekend, I'm going to pop over to Rainbow Records in Barrington to see if they still have the Rosemont show from 2000. It was there a couple of weeks ago, but I was a little short on cash to add that to the purchase.

Very accurate thread title. They are, in fact, talking about something...

I covered my favorite bit of Spiegel-Branded-Idiocy(TM) in my other standalone post in this subforum today, however, I can tell you that show is winning the talk-radio war of attrition because I hate Silvy & Waddle (although listening to 10 minutes of that clears my sinuses up better than a proper whiff of good horseradish) and good ol Leftwing-Rush-Limbaugh, aka Ed Schultz is prolly on some self-imposed exile cuz he's building up his street cred by calling Laura Ingraham a slut.

Seriously, Ed Schultz cracks me the fuck up cuz he's basically the left-wing's Rush Limbaugh... and once he got that MSNBC show he really took to his role as the bizarro-world Rush and it's just hilarious to hear him rail on about "populist" things now that he's been tapped to go balls out extreme, kind of like ESPN did with Sean Salisbury back in the day.

Speaking of over-exposed junk, the update is over and it's time for MORE SPEAGOL TALK!!!!! I can't wait to hear him lick bernstein's taint re: the schuster hoedown during tranny.

OMFG, board-poster/show-asslicker Johnny Fontaine just gave Spiegel props for pointing out good Z has been this year.

Did Mac really just try and make the argument the Z could be traded to the AL and make a viable DH?

Really, Mac?

Dumb.

In fairness to Mac's kinda-dumb assertion, you could probably do worse than Zambrano in terms of AL DH's... take a look at the majestic Jack Cust's stat-line for this season:

Jack Cust (2011): 41g 143ab 11r 33h 10h2b 0h3b 1hr 16rbi 29bb 51k 0sb 0cs .231avg .364obp .322slg .686ops

Z prolly wouldn't walk 29 times in ~172 PAs, however, I bet you that he could hit .231 with 1HR and 16RBI in that same amount of plate appearances. Then again, BA/HR/RBI are "kiddie stats" and I'm long overdue to suck on a lactating teat so I'm gonna go get my hat and coat.

I'm telling you guys, Spiegel's dumbass sucktitude is spreading like a disease and we are the CDC tasked with stopping it. JOIN ME IN THE CRUSADE TO SAVE MID-DAY RADIO, GENTLEMEN!!!

Wrong.

Paraphrasing: Fontaine said that Zambrano shouldn't be praised so much for just doing his job.

Mac has said Zambrano could be a DH for a couple of years, even said when he was still on the Saloon.
