Good thing those 4 strikeouts really aren't a bad thing.

No less an authority than Dan Bernstein will tell you that!!!!
Dunn will "get his numbers"!!!!! :drunken:

Going to have to get those numbers batting 7th. Ozwald is demoting him.

Too bad they just can't release him.....he could always become the SCORE'S "Baseball Expert" on the Afternoon Show.

You can't get a 24 pack of Pepsi Max for Adam Dunn. The lineup is supposed to be released in about 2, 3 hours from now, and Ozzie's planning to have A.J. Pierzynski 5th, Alex Rios 6th and Adam Dunn 7th in tonight's lineup vs. Blue Jays' starter Kyle Drabek. I don't know if that'll make much of a difference, but I think it's safe to say Jim Nicholson's single-season record for strikeouts is very much in jeopardy...

He is a great actor, but I didn't know he struck out that many times.

Nice avatar.

Anyways I will take that run. Hopefully Drabek serves up something nice to Paulie.

5 walks and only one has scored.

Sox should be up 4 or 5.

I wish someone would use this line in the game recap.

Oh man, there goes his chance at .300 this year.
Or .280.

Or even .260.

How is it possible that Quentin and Rios run into each other on a ground ball in the gap?

3-2 Jays.

Ho hum.

Another loss where the offense disappears. On a semi-positive note, Dunn walked 4 times.

It didn't take Dunn much to get back in Ozzie's good graces. At least Micah McPherson isn't playing again.

Wow who would have believed that on memorial day weekend Lillibridge and Dunn would have the same # of HRs

Solid.

Leadoff double left at 3rd.

Don't worry. Adam Dunn will be fine.

Adam Done is hurting this team at this point. I heard Stone say something yesterday about how it's 1/3rd of the way thru the season, no more time for adjusting while discussing another player. Would you say that Dunn is still going to "Hit his numbers?" He'll have to be a MONSTER for the remainder of the season in order to make those numbers.

At the end of the season, when he's got a OPS under .700, I'll make sure I ask Bern Stine when exactly he's going to make his numbers.

I like how so many people are acting like Bernstein was the only one who thought Adam Dunn was going to be good. I certainly didn't expect him to play this bad, I doubt very few if any did. I certainly didn't think it would be this difficult for him to adjust and I doubt you did either. Almost every Sox fan (everyone I talked to) was very excited for this team at the start of the season. Its fine to be upset, I am. But if anyone saw this coming they should look into getting a job in baseball.

We've got all these baseball geniuses coming out of the woodwork. Blaming Kenny Williams for putting this team together, Ozzie Guillen for playing them, Walker for not making em hit.

Its all on the players.
