The 6 man rotation just worked itself out. I guess you can never have enough left handers in the bullpen.

The Sox won game 1.

You're right. I was thinking of the weekend (Fri-Sun) and forgot about Thursday.

Has John Danks (or Edwin Jackson) become the newest member of the bullpen?

Not to be glib, but what constitutes "survival"? They're 12 games out in the loss column, and even if Cleveland is finally hitting the skid that everyone said they would, the converse of your point is that the Indians can afford to play like ass for a month or so because they won 31 of their first 50.

It's not a sweep, but it sure feels like it, BD. The White Sox won that first game on a Thursday night, but since 2B Gordon Beckham got popped below the left eye Friday night on that awful FieldTurf, it was downhill for the Southsiders. Besides Tampa Bay's awful excuse for a ballpark in Tropicana Field, the Metrodome in Minneapolis and Target Field, along with Yankee Stadium past and present in the Bronx, the White Sox have played awful baseball in at least 3 other ballparks in recent years. Why that is, I don't know...Needless to say, the BlueJays aren't exactly good at baseball either.
