Did Murph just refer to B & B as "Linguistic S.O.B.'s"?

No, he said "have fun laughing at the legless SOB," a pastime of Murph's rival Terry Boers.

Oh, and of course they're trying to use this against him. Man, the Boers-Murph thing is tiresome.

I get a pretty big kick out of it actually. Pounding Murph into the ground never gets old.

Funny thing is, Boers didn't really bash Santo, even kinda gave it the ol "take him or leave 'em, I don't care." After Murph's rant (and again his rant today) I have to say that Murph lost this round. He looked like a total nimrod for his crybaby approach to Santo.

Look, Santo was a heck of a ballplayer. But at the end of the day, does it really matter if he gets in, or that his fans appreciated him for his play?

I'd be happy with fan approval and screw the veterans committee.
