So I keep telling msyelf that this game can't be as good as 2...too many people have jumped the IW ship...and multiplayer is being done out of house...

...all that being said, I'd be lying if I said this teaser didn't put me in the "OMG, MODERN WARFARE 3 I HAZ TO HAZ IT NAO!!!" mood...

I love the comments for the video.

I thought the America under siege thing was already done, I was hoping to bring the fight back to Russia, looks like they're stretching this out to as many sequels as they can...

Don't worry...America is a very small part of it...they released three similar videos showing fighting in England, France and Germany...

...as for Russia, based on things I've read, we will see that too...

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that MW3 will be eerily similar to the last 3 Call of Duty games.

Hahahahah.

Probably between $5-$10 a month.

Why the hell would anyone suscribe to that? It doesn't sound like it will offer anything to the actual gameplay of any CoD title.

Agreed.

Why pay money when for this subscription? Either way I can still run around and call 12 year old kids, fags.

While it may be widely-used, I doubt it will include the majority of CoD players. No one is going to pay a monthly fee for something they can still play for free (either in the CoD titles themselves, or simply jump-ship to BFBC).

It would be company suicide.

Yes, and pretty much every person playing online. I think i've got it figured out. If you live in the South, you just call everyone a n-word. People from other areas drop the F-ag bomb.

I pretty much buy the new COD games out of habit now. I might try to break that habit with this one, although I did like the campaign in MW2 and would like to find out where it goes. The MP part of the game has pretty much lost my interest. It's OK, but I'm not really into like the first MW. I absolutely have zero interest in the "Elite" package their pushing. Maybe I'm not competitive enough... or I don't have 4 hours a day or more I can dedicate to learning maps and weapons. I might have considered this when I was into the first MW. But this one is screaming "buy it used" to me and definitely pass on the elite package. I'm awesome, I don't need a website to show others.

No one is going to BFBC with BF3 coming. :P

A much higher percentage of PC players will opt in to this, over console players. PC players are more competitive, and this will have built in clan / stat tracking.

Also, again, it is Activision. There will be special weekly or monthly modes that Elite only subscribers will have access to. There will be weapons and maps only Elite have access to, besides the map packs. It is a near guarantee.

I luv Maps; If I get 4 or 5 maps for subscribing, it would be worth it to me... fuck all yall haters

Bingo.

A slightly tweaked but almost identical engine + 6 hr single player + exact same gameplay + new skins and maps for only 60 bucks.

Hey but it has a few multiplayer maps and they will only charge 15 bucks for 4 extra ones every few months.

Good way to give people the opportunity to pay double the price of the game over the course of the games short lifespan.

Yeah it's pretty fucked up. I haven't bought the new maps for MW2 and don't plan to. All my friends come over and play so I told them to ante up and at the very least pay for the new maps. Hell those fuckers play more than me. I'll end up getting this game just because. I will also be purchasing BFBC3 too, I enjoy that game more and more, the strategy, destructible maps, and vehicles put this game ahead of Call of Duty IMO.

I was kinda joking. I game to play with friends. Since my pals will all be getting this, I'll be a lemming too. MW3 is definitely on the list.

I'm only moderately looking-forward to this sequel. At some point the franchise just gets old and overdone.

Of course, I felt the same way about Madden; however this year's release looks and plays really solid.

I picked up MW2 for PS3 and have been playing it a bunch lately. It kinda sucks not having the Xbox anymore, but I'm still able to piss people off just as well.

Nope... I think it's out for the holidays. Going up against MW3. Kind of fun to see the big daddy (Call of Duty) go up against the grandaddy (Battlefield). Many think the buzz on Battlefield is going to help the franchise regain ground on Call of Duty. But frankly, I think the masses still like the twitch and shoot kinda first person shooters. Battlefield games take more patience and coordination than an average 13 year old boy generally is willing to display. As a result, I think that you'll find that BF3 will improve its franchise, but won't overtake the Call of Duty machine.

Like I said... I game with a group of guys at Pregamelobby.com. I frankly don't care what game we play as long as I get to hang with friends. We end up playing games where it's easy to jump in and jump out. Sometimes the Battlefield games aren't conduscive to this. Some of those battles can last a long time. Our favorite thing to do is play Gun Game, Sticks and Stones, and One in the Chamber on Black Ops. Those are a helluva lot of fun.
