Yeah, the White Sox finish the road trip 5-5 and have won 7 in a row at Fenway Park. Too bad the White Sox don't have another trip to Boston planned...

If I didn't know better I would think Konerko was a candidate for steroid scrutiny. He has had the best 18 months of his career at the age of 35.

Very selective statistical analysis. BA, OBP, SLG etc. are all higher the past 18 months than in those years which is especially impressive given that he passed the age of 33.

I think people that are using performance enhancers nowadays are using HGH. Its not tested for in the major leagues. Who knows though, this is just speculation. You've got Bautista going from 59 homers in six seasons to 54 in one. Colon having a career year after having an operation where HGH is usually used, but according to some sketchy doctor in Puerto Rico, he didn't use HGH.

Anyways, that was a big win. Hopefully this give the Sox confidence to put together a really good homestand because they need too. Its funny, I am listening to the MLB network and before the Boston series they were barley mentioned, but after beating Boston they are "surging in the standings".
