Got a few smokes this weekend. Padilla has become my go to cigar. The Miami, 1932 and 68 are great. I like the spiciness and smoothnes of the Miami and is currently my fav.

I haven't had a Padrón yet so this one will be my 1st go.

I've yet to try a Punch I don't like so I've decided to give the Rare Corojo a try
Padilla Miami - $9
Padron - $6
Punch - $5

Anyone else smoke? If so, what? Any recommendations?

Cohiba cigars. They arent really expensive but I smoke them on special occasions like a poker night or a ppv, something like that.

Pretty smooth cigar that hasn't let me down yet.

I am a big fan of Punch.

When I have money to spare, I like to grab some Macanudos. I tend to buy in bulk for parties, and for my money, the New Cuba out of Nicaragua can't be beat. They're about 35 bucks for a block of 20 at Binny's. Anyone that was at Darko's party last year and smoked one can chime in on them as well. I like Cohiba as well.

As far as size, I usually buy the Churchill or the Corona Grande. It's been a while since I've bought some, lately they've been an impulse buy at the liquor store on my way home...there is a small local place I stop at that has a fair selection at reasonable prices.

Shit Cohibas are pretty expensive for me. I had a Puro Dominicana while I was in Miami. It was given to me but the stick cost almost $20. it was a great smoke though

One of the guys I was with kept raving about Behikes. Looked em up and juuuuuust a bit out my price range

I'm a huge fan of Onyx Maduro No. 4. Only problem is that I can't seem to find them anywhere in town.

Inexpensive Cohiba's are fakes. It's one of the pricier Cigars but damn they're good.

:salut:

Bought a couple of Punch's last night at Binnys...smooth, not overpowering to the surroundings. Went really good with the ale I was drinking last night.

Smoke a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990. Nice cocoa/woodsy taste. I did find it a bit of a black cherryish taste about half way through. Was a nice changeup there
$7

Seriously, though, a 1.5" ash shows a pretty good roll.

It went about 2in or so before it finally went it down. Wanted to see how far it could go
One of the 1st things I noticed was how well rolled it was and an oily feel

Smoking 3x3...it's a brand in a silver tube that I buy at the liquor store in downtown Palatine...they remind me a lot of smoking a Punch...just cost about half as much. Mellow the whole way, no sweetness or anything. Not bad for about 4 bucks each.

Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles. One of the best cigars I've smoked so far. Highly recommended. It's strong, spicy and has a cherryish hint. It's a petit corona so I found myself wanting more after i was done
$5.50

I'm not a cigar aficionado by any means, but I do enjoy one from time to time. Does anybody have a favorite Cuban cigar? My wife is going to Canada next week, maybe she can get one or two for me.

Cost me $5.50 Ugie

Chus - Cigar Aficionado has the Cohiba Behike as its cigar of the year. Their website also has a pretty big list and reviews of cubans cigars so you can check them out.

That looks like a $50 cigar. I was looking for something for about half of that. It doesn't have to be the best cigar out there, just a good one.

Last 2 smokes were pretty damn good!

Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic 1979 $7
It's a Don Pepin. Nuff said. Medium/full bodied toasty wood/leather tatse
Image

Rocky Patel Decade - $11
RP makes some great stick and this is easily one of the best. Smooth with a slightly sweet finish

CAO La Traviata Divino $5.00
The 1st time I tried this I didn't like it much but I got another one and it was much better. Medium with alot of flavor

Padilla 68 $6
Padilla has a strong line up and this is one of their better cigars. This one has a spicy finish but its smooth
Image

Oliva Serie V Liga Especial Belicoso $6
Oliva is easily one of the better Cigar makers out. They rarely disappoint. This little rocket is full bodied and packs a ton of flavors. I would buy a box of these
Image

Casa Magna Colorado $5.50
Tried one of these recently and had to buy a couple more. Slight taste of coffee but very good
Image

Actually have to run to the cigar shop tonight for a few on my list
