Dr. Rosenthal was in the news in January, when he sued best-selling dating-book author Ellen Fein for $5 million after she called him a quack on the LyingDentist.com and BadDentist.com Web sites. She accused him of ruining her mouth.

The lawsuit accused Fein, author of "The Rules," of defamation, harassment and extortion.

Fein's lawyer, Ann McGrane, said she planned to file a motion to dismiss Rosenthal's lawsuit, and she said she was sure it would be granted.

Of course it would be dismissed! Even greater chance if it is a Public Figure. I don't begrudge the guys on this message board for backing down and not wanting to fight the rich spoiled 50 some year old who acts like a 12 year old, but Mike North had NO SHOT at winning his case.

The cowardly lions

Yea, I'm a coward. didn't feel like wasting my time with court dates and all the crap that goes along with it. Like I told mike over the phone, take me to court if thats whay you have to do, I am not worried, he dropped it and I applogized for not exactly qouting him, but he is the one not playing the tape, so as far as I am concerned, he is the one who is cowardly by not playing the tape.

Timmy, Rodeo and the others, I don't blame any of you.

Yet, I am not so sure I would have apologized for 2 reasons.

first being that I really don't think Mike would do anything that was really legal except for having attorneys write letters. I have had that done to me regarding some some business issues and I always respond with very ambiguous letters and in the long run it costs the other guy $1000's for trying to be a jerk, as they had no intention of sueing me.

second, Mike North just wants to make you apologize. He isn't asking for the purpose of foregiveness, just to prove he can make you do what he wants. His few apologies I have ever heard are hollow at best.

He harbours resentment on most issues and you always hear negative comments from him, when something doesn't go his way. From his contract, to management, to players, to listeners, to producers, to co hosts, his comments become mean and spiteful the minute the little baby doesn't get his way. No reason to apologize to a guy like that.
