Everyone knows that Bruce Levine is ESPN Radio 1000's baseball beat reporter. Last year everyone knew 670 The Score's reporter was George Offman (until he was dismissed). I hear Les Grobstein is doing the reports from spring training for the MNMS... does the Score have any of their own people reporting live from spring training? Who is supposed to be their baseball beat reporter?

They rotate guys. Shuster, Larry, Jesse, and Zac.

They don't have anyone down there because they blew their budget for the Super Bowl, so Mike North is paying Les out of his own pocket to give the reports. Of course we have to hear Mike mention this everyday.

If the payroll for the morning show reflected the level of talent demonstrated I'm sure there would be room in the budget to hire competent reporters.

Then we wouldn't have to listen to Mikey ad nauseum drone on about having to stick a crowbar in his wallet.

Even funnier, WSCR is preventing Mac, Jurko and Harry from broadcasting at the White Sox Park out in Arizona - even though WSCR won't even be there.

I think that's more pathetic than funny - if you have to resort to that kind of crap, you just are delaying the inevitable.
