Not to mention he does it with no protection. Adam Dunn hits behind him. So he has the worst lead off man playing on his team and the worst hitter in MLB hitting behind him. Think about that.

No. For the reasons I just gave in my last post, Konerko is better than him.

First, you mean "than".

Second - while the (White) Sox may be on a nice little run in the last month or so, the (Red) Sox are on crazy run since April, and AG is the main reason why. Dude has been hitting the shit out of the ball. Plus, he plays on the east coast......

Yes. I know he plays on the east coast and that will get him MVP votes. But you don't use that as an argument to describe who is, acutally, the best hitter.

Right now, as we speak, Konerko is the best hitter in the game. I'm not saying he will be all year.

It only shows it if people have posted after you. I corrected it before that. It means I recognized it before somebody told me. That means I win.

Wrong

You can't win because you're a loser.

That was awesome. Pitcher tries to slow play him. He looks all cool at him, waits it out, and then smashes a double. Sum bitch is just in a zone right now.

Players having a better offensive year than Konerko
Jose Bautista
Prince Fielder
Matt Kemp
Matt Holliday
Miguel Cabrera

He's not even the best hitter in his division.

Even as a Sox fan, I agree with this list. Hell, Cabrera is the best "bad ball" hitter in baseball.

Fine. Konerko is the best hitter not on steroids.

Konerko is tied for 1st in homers, 2nd in RBIs and 2nd in avg. He is a better hitter than wifebeatin' Cabrera right now.

Beardown, for the life of me, as well as Paul Konerko is doing right now with 5 straight games with a home run, why Ozzie continues to have Adam Dunn in the #5 spot doing absolutely, positively nothing but strikeout is very, very puzzling to me. Dunn should be batting much lower in the lineup until he somehow finds his offensive confidence once again.

In the first 2 games of this Interleague series, Ozzie had SS Alexei Ramirez batting 6th(?) and C A.J. Pierzynski batting 7th. I can understand if Ozzie's trying to find an offensive spark by juggling the lineup, but this is ridiculous!

As for the leadoff situation, I've seen enough of Juan Pierre like everyone else. Who leads off if Pierre is sent packing? He'll be back in the lineup tonight, but I think Ozzie might have little choice but to have 2B Gordon Beckham or Alexei become this team's leadoff hitter...
