Maybe this belongs more in the general discussion board but it has to do with Mike & Mike. Very odd dream I had...
I was a producer for Mike & Mike and was with the interns for some meeting, when all of the sudden I hear the show, and I can hear the two bickering as usual but it escalates and I hear Golic yelling at Greenberg in a way I haven’t heard before. I go into the studio and hear the following:
Greenberg: Hold on, hold on Golic—
Golic: No, no no you want to big time me? You’re big timing me? That’s fine. Whatever. You’re an asshole Greenie.
Greenberg: Whoa! Golic, hold on—
Golic: No, big time—
And Golic is flailing his arms around and stuff, so I’m telling them to cut it off, to go to commercial, and then:
Greenberg: We’ll take a break, see if Golic can calm down—
Golic: Ffuck you, Greenie. Just ffuck off, mister big time.
Greenberg: Don’t know what I said, but this is Mike & Mike in the morning
Golic: <silence>
Greenberg: ESPN Radio.
Once the show goes to commercial, Golic rips off his cans and throws them down on the ground.
Greenberg: Golic what did I say? I’m sorry! What did I say?
Golic: Just go ffuck yourself, Greenie.
He gets up and leaves, slamming the door. Greenberg, I assume, has to do the rest of the show by himself.
Throughout my dream, there is never an explanation for Golic’s outburst, but later in the dream I’m having cocktails and dinner with friends, including Greenberg who is nursing a Scotch and I make a joke about the situation to which Greenberg says he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Then as dreams do, it went off on some other tangent (nothing sexual). Anyway, I thought I’d share that because it was quite vivid, and something that would actually make that show interesting.
