I remember Jurko's disdain for DirecTV, namely the Mega March Madness package. If I'm not mistaken, Mac then chimed in (with legitimate reasons) why he's cancelling it as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't they going to be in Las Vegas during the majority of the games being played, that won't be aired on normal television?

What's the point of having it if you're not home, and Harry isn't there to hook up your Slingbox?

;)

I bought the PACKAGE two years ago and last year I was in Mexico AND MISSED THE WHOLE WEEK of games and it will be the same thing again this year as I will be down in Cancun and forced to find a place showing games. They automatically renew it every year and I forget to cancel it and I get whacked for a $100 bucks every year .

They get ya in where you must cancel the week of the Tourney or it's on the bill and they will not credit you . The NFL package and MLB is the same way but I will not cancel either of those. I thought about buying the NHL package but Dollar Bill still has the Hawks games blacked out on the NHL package, so why bother. ASSHOLE..

This coming from a guy who shows up at my house 13 of the 17 weeks in the NFL season to watch games and drinks my beer and eats my food but does not have the courtesy to even bring a bag of chips .

Don't crap me now , no, no , no.

Dickhead!!

Guys, sign up for it for free at cbs sportsline and you can get every game delivered to your laptop or computer online, wherever you are. Figure out a way to wire your laptop to your TV and you can watch it on the big screen in your house. Who needs DTV?

Coast, have you ever watched a game on the web? The video quality is absolutely horrible, and to put that crap on a big screen, yet alone any tv for that matter, would just make it worse.

That being said, it's still better than giving the DTV bastards any more of your money.
